Ate there for lunch with a lot of ladies. It was a great venue for us all and the staff were very accommodating and helpful with our meals and allowing us to reorganise our table. Food was nice and served promptly. It was good to be able to pay individually as well. Will be back again.

The changes to the dining area at the Alfred has come at a disappointment for me. I enjoyed the staff coming with water to the table, the interaction, taking our order etc, this has now all gone to the customer being self serving to a point. I traveled from Moorooka to enjoy lunch at the Alfred now, to me, it’s the same as my local pub.

The food is amazing. The chef was able to adjust to my dietary requirements which I was very impressed with. The staff remembered me from a previous visit and were very welcoming.

We were very happy with this great find. All the staff are super welcoming and friendly, the service was outstanding! Our meals were delicious and it was a generous serving. We had the gnocchi beef ragu and the Atlantic salmon - superb. Great choice of drinks too. Look forward to returning!

Well presented food, friendly staff, convenient location close to transport. We took some enormous ribs, they were quite good except for the barbecue sauce on them.

We were over the Northside with the kids & I’m glad I booked in the place for dinner, great area for our dinner drinks & the food was beautiful. The best rib eye on the bone I have had, absolutely amazing. Hubby had the ribs which were good the only thing that could have been improved was the slider rolls for my boy were quite firm & hard to eat. I would certainly return

Well for pub grub it certainly didn’t disappoint. The service was friendly and helpful. We started with the share board and to say that it was a great selection is an understatement. The Bruscetta , pork belly, meat balls, karage chicken and salad was all fresh and tasty. Then for mains had the rib and rump, sauce of peppercorn and mash and greens. Well cooked nice serves and filling. I recommend this place highly. Thanks hotel la.

We started with the garlic bread, which was really nice but very salty. My husband had the rib fillet which he was very happy with and the chips were excellent. Would be good for a side. I had the Atlantic Salmon which was very nice but I would not have the rice noodle again. For desert I had the Cheesecake which was awful. It's the first almost solid cheesecake I've ever had and I left most of it.
