Had to book dinner for 4.30 as the only time available but there were plenty of tables all the way through to 6.30.

Really loved the experience. Second time to eat there and we will definitely be back again when we're in Sydney next.

About The Meat & Wine Co Circular Quay

A Cut Above… Internationally renowned The Meat & Wine Co have brought their spectacular steakhouse to Sydney Harbour. And not just that, they’ve raised the bar of intimacy and sophistication inside the lobby of Sydney’s iconic, heritage listed Intercontinental Hotel. Contemporary interiors with subtle African influences give the restaurant an unmistakable uniqueness. Expect rustic wooden walls, original arched windows, luxurious leather seating and stone features; the ideal setting to feast over business or pleasure. At The Meat & Wine Co, there’s plenty of South African flavour and meats galore. Monte is the premium line of beef exclusive to the restaurant, sourced from only premium breeders of the highest quality Angus cattle, reared and grazed on selected farms throughout Australia. If you’re serious about meat, a Monte premium cut will be at the top of your list. It’ll be grilled to your liking and served with an obligatory helping of crunchy chips. If you prefer gamier meat, then don’t go past the kangaroo fillet marinated in native bush spice (you’ll have to trust us). Otherwise, there’s a range of burgers, ribs, mixed skewers, seafood and vegetarian dishes. Even the kiddies are taken care of! Best dish: Monte Black wagyu rib-eye
