We had a delightful luncheon with a pleasant view of the Parramatta river. A great value fixed price luncheon menu, the service was very helpful but not intrusive. and...THE Steak was sublime!

The food is really good and well presented. Our wait staff was polite, professional and friendly. However, the wait staff that served the wine was not particularly good as she just simply chuck the glass on the edge part of the table. The $5 per person surcharge on Sunday is really disappointing given the price of the menu. This is more than 10% of our food bill. I'd recommend the place but not on a Sunday or public holiday.

Would it be fair to say you’d be missing the point if you came to the Meat & Wine Company to try the salads? Australian Angus beef cuts are the house specialty, with super-aged meat the order of the day. Start off with the beef carpaccio or boerewors (South African sausage) and carry on with a T-bone or petite fillet. If you must know, they do also serve a few vegetarian dishes.
