The food was delicious! You could have a bigger range of desserts (I'm a sweet tooth!). Also am grateful there was a gluten free vegetarian option for my friend. The ambiance was perfect, not too loud, easy to talk and hear my girlfriends.

A great night, a tad noisy as a large group were rather loud. A tad surprised that the dining room was cleared around us and we were felt that we had to leave which was disappointing as we were more than happy to continue the night on The food was lovely, tasty and the chicken breast was one of the better ones I’ve had-specially G/F friendly

About the restaurant

At the National Hotel we have three different dining areas. The Bar which is our casual space with a wide range of craft beer, wine and spirits. The Dining Room, a more intimate dining area, where we invite you to settle in for a while. This ambient space offers an open fireplace and unique views of Geelong's CBD and The Rooftop which is Unquestionably one of the best spots in the city for drink. Our rooftop terrace has a retractable roof so it's suitable for all days of the year. It offers city skyline views, lift access and a collection of seasonal cocktails.
