Beautiful, sunny and welcoming cafe. Lots of little touches and we felt well looked after. Great food and fantastic coffee! We’ll definitely go again.

Lovely little cafe in busy Bondi.. Gorgeous jazz playing, lovely ambience. We came for a birthday breakfast. I had the persian avo smash - yumm but the others ordered the brioche french toast. Not good. Bread was not brioche (sweet) and didnt taste fresh. Coffee was delicious and hot... just wanted to share

Amazing food. It was a great atmosphere: not too loud or crowded. I had the Persian avo on toast which was so flavoursome and delicious. They also did a little koala on my mocha - nice touch

The restaurant was clean & cosy, staff were friendly and dishes interesting. The only thing I disliked was chipped coffee cups- not a good sight .

Although the cafe was empty when we arrived the staff were very welcoming. It soon got busier and this added to the atmosphere without the staff losing interest in us. Good music background and great food made this a memorable experience. The menu was good and varied and offered us a lot of choices which means we will be back! loved the quirky cups and saucers!

The almond milk they use for their coffee was disgusting, undrinkable and we had to return. The best almond milk for coffee hands down is Milk Lab. From now on we won't dine at a cafe unless we find out about their milk beforehand. The food was OK, my eggs were cooked perfectly. I thought the hollandaise sauce was a bit on the vinegary side. We were impressed with the presentation of both the cafe and the food and the staff were very helpful and accommodating.

About the restaurant

Organic, Seasonal and Sustainable

Mediterranean, organic food and five senses coffee. You little beauty. On Bondi’s popular Glenayr Avenue you’ll find this cafe cross wine bar which focuses on locality. With sustainability and all organic front of mind, the menu is big on seafood and seasonal produce; each dish full of texture, layers and colour. Enjoy beautiful nine grain bircher with sheep’s yoghurt and wild truffle honey for breakfast; kingfish, citrus, pickles onion, sorrel, apple, fennel and prosciutto dust for lunch; and beautiful 5senses espresso or a glass of Domaine Zafeirakis, Chardonnay to wash it all down. The Nine is open, airy and welcoming with a charming blue and white colour palette throughout than instills a sense of calm. Stay for nine minutes for a coffee, or ninety for a meal. Either option is perfection.

Best dish: mediterranean bowl: kale, quinoa, pomegranate, grains, avocado, hummus, boiled egg and toast
