Great service. Slight hiccup with the orders and they rectified as soon as they could (ie 10 minutes) The hiccup was that missed one. Very accommodation and helpful. The calamari was lovely. Thanks will be back.

Great atmosphere and fabulous staff and service. Wine and drinks list also good and good value for money. The menu as listed on the website is much more interesting and expansive than the actual menu when we arrived - so things we were looking forward to ordering were not available. Food was OK, but far from really good. Will go again because staff and setting made it an enjoyable evening. Hope food is better next time as everything else deserves a bit more than standard pub fare.

I came here with my daughter. Interesting layout of the building with a real tree growing inside. Unfortunately tree losing lots of leaves inside. The meals were lovely, but a bit over priced. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Have been to the hotel previously and did the same Xmas business lunch last year. Had a great table upstairs, excellent service and excellent food as well. Value for money also appreciated.

Lovely building with interesting interior layout, staff were excellent and very friendly, service was efficient and food was very nice, with a great menu. Overall very satisfied and happy to recommend. Will be back. ????

$20 Parma night was an absolute hit! They were delicious with nice crunchy chips and decent sized meals. Really enjoyed ourselves and will be back for sure.

The restaurant had nice ambiance and the acoustics were great (e.g. it wasn't noisy and our group could talk comfortably). The food however was disappointing. The swordfish was overcooked and dry. The crumbed calamari and chips was a big plate of deep fried sameness. The tomato gnocchi was the highlight dish and was nice. The service was average.

The refurbished North Star is a very nice place to sit with a Guinness on a cold and rainy night. The food (I had the burger) was excellent, and the Pub has a welcoming vibe that's good for all ages.

I must comment on the service today. Although busy, staff were efficient, attentive but not at all intrusive. Our food was deilcious - perfectly cooked and presented, and don't ever take the Louis Max off the drink menu please.

The service was excellent. It was very noisy once there was a fair amount of people. I had the lamb backstrap wich was perfect but could have been so much better with a few vegetables added.
