Absolutely delightful ambience. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Good menu with enough choice for everyone. Food was well presented and tasty. Considering the service and quality it is reasonably priced. We will definitely visit again!

The staff were fantastic, but there weren’t enough of them and it seemed like they were understaffed. The food was very good, but I think that due to the lack of staff my food sat under the heat lamp for too long and the top of my pasta of the day was dry and hard. I would recommend the sirloin and salt and pepper squid.

We had a delicious lunch today. The food was delicious, staff friendly and efficient despite it being a busy afternoon m and the outdoor dining area was beautiful. Would highly recommend. It’s also dog friendly!

The service by Steve was obliging and efficient. The entrees were generous - in fact, not much different from the mains. The angel hair pasta (with seafood) was a little dry as was the seafood but still enjoyable. We will return.

The restaurant atmosphere and log fire was inviting and cosy. The food was good but could be improved by a better sizing of salt & pepper squid for its price. Also the scallops should have been hotter. Chips were good and large bowl. Service was terrific.

When this was Bon Ton it was one of our favourite Leura destinations. Family lunch today was fine except for one of the dishes, Bao buns with chicken -;it was very hard to find any chicken, only one very small piece in each bin

The food was fresh and the service prompt. The acoustics were disappointing and it was hard to hear each other talk (we were seated inside). Also the dessert menu was limited. I love the restaurant generally and especially the garden

The pasta is a bit dry and salty. I expected the food is better but overall is not too bad. The atmosphere is quite good and the service isn't too bad

A restaurant where it is light, airy and decked in modern traditional decor makes a trip to the mountains worthwhile. The wait staff were warm and welcoming which added a wonderful charm to this restaurant. The meals were delicious and choices were just enough not to confuse. As a local I will return and would highly recommend this establishment to day trippers and locals alike.

After initially not having our booking. They accommodated our group very well with minimal fuss. Service was friendly. The food was great. Though we would of love more Gnocchi in our serving.

About the restaurant

Bonjour from the Blue Mountains.

Bonjour mes ami! Who would have thought that the Blue Mountains could cater for your French fancies? Well it does, and very well might we add. Cafe Bon Ton is a European style bistro, complete with log fires and an al fresco dining space. In the French tradition, the restaurant serves up a prix fixe menu, where you can enjoy two or three courses and a French or Australian country wine for a good price. On the menu you’ll find all your Frenchie faves: snails, confit duck, steak frites and of course, plenty of cheese! Bon appetit!

Best Dish: braised pork cheek chasseur
