A popular gem amongst our premium selection of the trendiest restaurants right now

Meet the Chef

Very poor service. It took them 45 minutes to finally serve some wine, long after the entree was served. The maître seemed to ignore us and we felt rushed to finish our meal. We ordered some coffee before paying the bill and that took ages to be served. Overall, we left annoyed and quite unhappy with the experience. However, the food itself was commendable, so congratulations to the chef.

Excellent! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The location is beautiful. We did not get the main waiters name but he was great! All the other wait staff were also wonderful and really attentive. The food was incredible. We got starters, mains and desserts. All so good and worth it.

The service is outstanding, the reccomendations were fabulous, the staff is friendly and attentive without intruding. The food prepatations are even better. I loved the entire meal service but the star was the red prawn first course. One of the best dishes I have ever had the privilege to enjoy.

Our meal was delicious with top notch ingredients and beautiful presentation. Our server recommended an amazing dry Portuguese sparkling wine as aperitif and a voluptuous red for our meal. The service was perfect - attentive but not intrusive. All of that combined with the gorgeous terrace seating with a view of the Douro river and historic city of Porto made for a most memorable occasion. Highly recommend!

This was an incredible setting for a meal but I just wasn't as blown away with the food or the service as I expected to be from a place with this sort of reputation. I cannot say anything specific that was "bad" about the meal. Everything was good and fine but for a meal with this reputation and price tag I just expected to be blown away. As a result I was underwhelmed. Maybe this is unfair to them or maybe I was paying for the view and the setting. Regardless, I am glad I went here on my vacation and would recommend dining here once as the setting is spectacular.

Was nice experience but I’d say also expensive as not atrue fine dining. But very enjoyable and the service was friendly and helpful. The surprise small plates and extra desert was a nice and unexpected touch.

Beautiful view! Room could use an small update on the decor, for example; more fresh flowers to fill the room. It was fantastic that their was only português cuisine. Thank you for an amazing experience.
