Missing some of the main menu items and service was very slow..............................,.......,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Great friendly staff and beautiful food.

But dissatisfied this time. The taste of the food was excellent as usual. But the Brisket was dry this time around. Usual moist and succulent. Tried the Mac and cheese this time too for the first time. Was a little watery and only found literally one piece of meat in it. I don’t know what’s changed since COVID started? The beer selection has gone to almost the same as a pub. So it still remains one of my favourite restaurants in Mackay, but would like to see it come back to absolute perfection! Still highly recommend. Staff are really still awesome!

Staff were great, check in process easy, COVID checks all in place. Food was amazing, local beer on tap was the perfect accompaniment. Highly recommend the share platter for two paired with the Goanna Pacific Ale and the Goanna ginger beer.

Thank you to the wonderful staff at The Paddock. Even though the reservation we booked through The Fork did not go through to them, they found us a table and both the food and service we excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant. We ordered the Pit Master platter to share to be able to try more and it was worth it.

The ribs were under cooked and tough to the point I could seperate the meat from the bone. The waitress approached us and returned the meal with a replacement. The service itself was exceptional however I wouldn’t recommend the ribs

Poor quality food. Issues with drink orders etc. Staff were pleasant, but appeared very inexperienced. Not likely to return. Clearly has been a change in management or ownership, as previous visit was not this poor.

Deb was such a great host! The food was amazing and extra filling. Ordered 2 platters to feed 4 people and it was more then enough! Presentation was amazing, beer was good and the atmosphere was great. Awesome effort, will definitely be back :)

Arrived to be told I didn’t have a booking, and then were seated outside to be bitten by midges while we ate. Service was very minimal, food ok not exceptional for the price.

Food was delicious, out table waiter was friendly and welcoming, overall a great place to dine, will definitely come back again , ( bathroom ms could do with some love)

This was the 4th time I had been to this restaurant. It did have the feel of the previous times I had come. I had booked a table and when I arrived the server gave us a choice of 2 places to sit at. Either a table of 2 in the middle of a busy walk way of a table of 6 off to the side. Seeing we were a party of 3 we chose the table of 6. We ordered entree and a kids meal along with a sharing platter. It took a little while for entree to come out. Most places we have gone to the entree and the kids meal come out together. This did not happen. When we received our share platter and kids meal, we noticed that there were items missing off our share plate. Also the meat was quite tough. Previous times coming here the meat has melted off the bone. However this time this was not the case. The wait staff seemed nice enough. Just not the experience I have had before.

Recommend you try the Pit Master just a great mix of meats

There are not words in the English vocabulary that would be able to describe The Paddock & Brew Company and do the justice. this way by far the best dining experience I have ever had. Not only was the food amazing but the drinks, getting a valued lesson in the art of drinking fine single malt whisky and receiving service that made both my mother and I feel as if we were visiting friends and family rather than sitting in a restaurant. The Paddock & Brew Company has the most amazing passion for food and it is displayed through their staff, food, service and owners, thank you so much for having us. We will definitely be back!!!!
