We were a little disappointed with the restaurant as it was quite warm in there. When we asked for the airconditioning to be adjusted as it was warm we were told that they could understand how we were feeling as they were hot too but it couldn't be adjusted. The food was not value for money. This was our family get together for Christmas and it wasn't the best.
Value for money. Kid friendly
Great selection on the breakfast buffet. Every thing I had was very well presented and fresh. Had a vegetarian in our group who commented that they would have liked to have had mushrooms, avocado or beans without chorizo as another vegetarian option. Will definitely be back again soon!
We come here a fair bit. It is hit and miss. Tonight if you cant do spicy food you were left with roaat pork, sea food and salad and desert. Very disappointing and we have raised this with staff, improves then a couple of weeks later goes back to all spicey. Have suggested keeping mostly spicy dishes to there mexican wednesdays.
Need more non sea food selection for non sea food eaters. Needs some salad with no sea food in them. Service was outstanding. Desert bar was amazing.
Thoroughly enjoyable! Food exceptional! Variety amazing! Just great!
Very enjoyable dining experience. We all enjoyed the buffet selections.
Great. One of the only times. Great service.
We went for my sons 15th birthday. The food was wonderful and the selection was great. No matter what your taste preference was there was something for everyone. All five of us where very satisfied. Only thing I didn’t like since they upgraded it is they don’t include the soft drinks and coffee/tea in the meal anymore.
Felt rushed. Although I made a booking there wasn't a table reserved and staff were setting up for lunch so limited tables available to sit at
The seafood, especially the prawns and muscles weren’t fresh.
Disappointed there was no seafood buffet on
Food was amazing. Loved it all. Coffee wasnt the greatest though.
Great meal dessert selection was amazing
Charge extra for barista made coffee... Not great, should be included but other than that we loved it
Have been going to that restaurant for 25 years. Since being renovated to Palm House this is the first time I have been disappointed. Food is cold. Bring back the Bain Marie's to keep it hot. The variety of food has declined. Prawn quality has also declined. The atmosphere & view is still fantastic. Has always been a place to take Mum, Grandma & the kids without complication.
generally the food is good but there needs to be a selection that doesn't have spices in them as spice is a cultural taste and is not always acceptable to many capsicum is a food allegy to many and restricts the dining experience and last night , therer were too many dishes with that allegen in them
The drinks are very expensive
I will happily return for dinner again
I did prefer when you could self serve your own drinks before palm house was there and it was aqua. Just table water was asked for and not received had to ask the Bartender to bring us water
