Fabulous
Great little restaurant- lovely welcoming attentive staff, great food & setting. Would highly recommend. Amazing cheese plate. We would definitely come again
The staff were friendly and helpful. The quality of the food was excellent and well presented. The coffee was hot which is a great selling point ; most places serve coffee luke warm.
Our first visit to the Pickled Sisters to cerebrate our mum's 102nd birthday. We thoroughly loved everything about this gorgeous venue. The food was delicious. The staff so very accommodating and friendly and efficient. Great atmosphere and not too noisy. We will definitely go again. Thank you for making our day special.
The restaurant was quite noisy, no air conditioning, and 3 entree’s not available. Staff were lovely, but overwhelmed by being so busy, all salad items unavailable, not much in the way of vegetarian dishes on the menu.
It was a very enjoyable experience enjoyed with three friends. Angus, the waiter, was excellent. The ambience was fabulous as was the food. I would definitely return!
Excellent food and service in a lovely relaxing atmosphere. We have been here before and quality of food and service is always top class. Recommend for great lunch.
The staff were excellent and very knowledgeable about the dishes on offer and the drinks . They were friendly and warm and made us feel very welcome ! Seriously my brother who lives on the coast couldn’t get over the quality of the sardines here in the country! Congratulations to everyone for making our day so enjoyable
Nice, cosy little restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. Our meals were good, but couldn't say great. One of our mains was a steak dish which unfortunately was quite grizzly, and some green vegie options would have been a nice addition to the menu. Other wise though we had a very enjoyable lunch. Loved the Pink Grapefruit Prosecco!!
Our group of 4 thoroughly enjoyed lunch. Highly recommend shared platters and also added the beetroot soufflé and stuffed sardines. Cofield wines topped off the experience
We went for lunch, not breakfast, had great food and received excellent service.
Excellent dining especially platter
It was a great place for a casual to semi formal lunch setting. The service and food were great and the overall feel delightful and relaxed.
Our favourite restaurant
So lucky to have The Pickled Sisters so close to home. The food is always so delicious, the wines always fabulous and Marion and her staff give excellent service.
Excellent service, very friendly staff. The food was delicious, locally sourced and unique. We loved the menu and enjoyed sharing different taste sensations that the chef had created. We love the food is different and not the same old stuff you get everywhere else.
Lovely setting, quiet and relaxing
I had a lovely birthday celebration and the food and service was wonderful.
Great meal as usual
Easy booking system for Father's Day lunch. Service was attentive with an interesting menu, quite different. Thoroughly enjoyable meal and experience.
Very delicious food in generous portions, extensive wine list and a broad range of beers, ciders and other non alcoholic options. We will definately go back to give the rest of the menu, and the wine list, a crack. Very highly recommended.

Ah, country air!
Welcome one and all to the Rutherglen wine region, where the fresh country air and Margaret River splashes are a balm for the soul. Here, amidst the picturesque scenery, you’ll find The Pickled Sisters cafe, renowned for their bustling open-aired atmosphere, wholesome country-style lunches, vineyard platters and regional wines. Inside the cafe, you get a neat view of the Co?eld Wines Barrel Room and outside is an open-plan deck where diners can enjoy the evening air. Their menu is always changing, which means you get the best tasting in-season foods from the Rutherglen area and northern Victoria. Their specialty? Anything baked and rustic: crunchy breads, delicate cakes, pates, terrines, pastas, soups and preserves. Dinner comes in two or three course arrangements, spanning soufflés, Frenchy free-range poultry, and parfait for dessert. They even have a little surprise from the Aussie outback: a wallaby rump steak with hearty vegies and sauced in beetroot puree. You’ll just love this country cafe!
Best dish: duck confit
