Really should be using BIODEGRADABLE cutlery. I witnessed plastic cutlery going overboard :0( other than that it was an amazing experience. Bugs were a little small though.

The seafood was fantastic. Very fresh and high quality. The prawns are great, however was unhappy with the size of the bugs served to us. The menu also said 3 bugs on our platter and we only received 2. $90 was a bit steep for the amount of seafood served up, but we left very happy.

An amazing addition to the Brisbane dining scene. Lovely staff (albeit maybe a couple were a little green) and fantastic super fresh seafood. It’s BYO everything to go with prawns, bugs, sashimi and oysters. Can’t wait to go back! Casual at its best!

Just a lovely spot, the freshest of seafood and the staff were friendly and helpful. It will be amazingly better when Covid restrictions are lifted insofar as salt, utensils, water etc. Also, maybe allowing patrons to stay longer would be great. All in all a lovely experience.

The one hour time frame made us feel very hurried, no interaction with staff so no information/outline on how restaurant run - Eg prawn shells removal etc. wonderful concept, but more plannning/information required on website etc...

Bloody love this place! Such a great concept! Super simple - big platter of the best seafood - no frills or spills. BYO drinks (corkage charged but glasses and ice bucket provided). Recommend taking bread, butter and a knife plus a plate or board. Plastic forks provided (please switch to wooden/bamboo then you’ll be the best place on earth). That’s all you need! So good!

The staff is very nice! The food really good, we enjoyed a lot having dinner at Prawnstead. We ordered the most expensive pack, oysters, moreton prawns, salmon sashimi and more, very fresh and yummy

Lovely experience for my dad’s 70th! The food was delicious and lots of it. It was fun to dine on the trawler and feel the boat moving. The service was quick , friendly, and accomodating. We could have happily stayed for a couple of hours, munching and chatting.

Prawnster is a great concept in a nice location The quality of the seafood is good but expensive for the size of the servings. The platter for 2 is barely for 2. There’s no plates, no cutlery & no water offered. Combine this with a 1 hour sitting, there’s lots of improvement opportunities.

The fresh prawns and bugs were delicious. Best I have eaten recently. Nicely served on stainless steel 2 tier stands, with ample buckets for shells and clean finger bowls. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and the tables were very clean and shiny. Hand washing facilities with running water were located before the entry to the boat. Relaxing atmosphere enjoying the sunset and then the lights. We will definitely return soon!

What a great way to spend some quality time with friends over fresh seafood. 2 visits so far, and there will sure to be more. Don't forget the plates, cutlery and bread.

Love the concept. Love the trawler. Love the food! Bring all the drinks and sides you want, but the seafood is the main event so don’t fill up on carbs! So delicious. Can’t wait to return.

Awesome! Came here for dinner and the food was unreal and excellent value. We got the $90 shared Sashimi,Bugs,Oysters and prawns plate. Well worth it. The seafood sauce they had with it was brilliant too. Will be coming back in a heartback - thanks for having us guys!

Best night out. Such a fabulous idea having prawns straight off the trawler. Being able to sit on the water, watching the boats drive by and see the city light sparkle.
