Excellent
An unpretentious venue, with a host that was welcoming, attentive and generous. We all six of us enjoyed our meal and would recommend The Prophet Restaurant without any qualms at all.
We had a beautiful dinner, the food was amazing! My boys are fussy eaters and they ate practically everything served. The owner was welcoming as was the waitress. We had an intimate setting so we could talk during dinner. The atmosphere was warm and intimate. Totally enjoyed our evening. We will be back.
Great food in a terrific location
Another lovely night st the Prophet. My husband and I had the mixed plate. Their falafels are delicious. The service was very friendly and efficient.
Just great food, not too much. Quality, not quantity. Cxxxxxxzzzzzzz xxxxxxzxzzzzz xxxxxzzz xxxzzxxzz xxxxxxzxzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Food was delicious and service was friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
We felt instantly at home in this comfy little establishment due to the friendly open manner of the host. I was relieved that I had made a booking that afternoon as the place filled up rapidly after we arrived. I'm glad we decided on the nook as it became quite noisy later on, yet not too overwhelming. As my partner chose a vegetarian platter and I wanted to try a meat dish, I was very pleased that I was able to order half dishes of green beans, cauliflower and kofta as I hate to waste food. All the dishes were yummy and just what we had been craving. We tried the creme caramel and I had traditional coffee both of which were superb. The whole experience was extremely pleasant and good value for money for those on a tight budget.
Omg, this was bad. Food was mainly reheated stuff and only heated to warm, not hot. We ordered the chicken rice and it was still in cold clumps from the fridge sitting in a pool of water. Kibbeh was cold in middle too. We booked for five including my toddler son and they didn’t even give him a seat, just stuck him at the pointy end of the table.
A great little restaurant with excellent food and staff that make you feel like family. Highly recommended
