Not the first time we’ve been disappointed with the food there. Decided to give it another shot but we won’t be going back there again unfortunately. The aircon was not working after a 39 degree day. They put bacon on a vegetarian Caesar salad despite explicitly stating it was a vegetarian option. There seemed to be an end of year function on at the time with loud announcements on a speaker, immense cheering and shouting which made conversations very uncomfortable. My salad that came with the steak was drowning with salad dressing to the point where it had leeched onto the chips and overloaded with salt. Wait staff were almost non-existent. Not at all impressed.

Nicely set up local pub. A bit noisy, and the duck gnocchi was dry and flavorless. Boys enjoyed their hamburgers and service was good.

I’ve been here quite a few times over the years and this was the first time that there wasn’t table service offered. We went for lunch on a Thursday. The staff were all very friendly and helpful except for when it came to clearing away our dessert and coffee plates & cups which they let sit there until we left & then immediately cleared them away. Two of our meals and the dessert were lovely with good portion sizes and cooked well but the third meal, Barramundi was overcooked, dry and rubbery and quite a disappointment especially since one of the other meals was also the Barramundi which was delicious and cooked perfectly. Overall we had a lovely experience except for the one bad meal.

Arrived at the venue and waitress 5 minutes until someone came to the desk and asked if we were “right”, shown to our table and told to order via the QR code or up at the bar. We has 3 Menzies given to us between 7 people. Didn’t have to wait too long for our food, steak was over and came out covered in pro port sauce instead of the garlic butter that was ordered. Couldn’t be bothered sending it back. Drinks we made with soda water instead of lemonade, took those back and the barman poured himself a drink to confirm my story. Overall pretty average and it wasn’t too busy in the restaurant. Won’t be back in a hurry.

My husband and I ordered the chicken parmigama which was the day special half way through mine I started feeling unwell by the time I got home I've vomited and had diarrhea all night extremely exhausted that they after.

The place is understaffed so the service was poor in overall. The people working there were trying their best (thank you) they were very busy and polite. But at the end of the day we needed to do a lot of waitressing ourself. We probably will not return there with big group of people. 4 to 6 is probably the highest number I can waitress for while being a guest myself.

Thought we’d give this place a try as we’ve just moved into a new house down the road and it was my birthday. Great food and fantastic service was our group of 4 adult’s experience and we will certainly be back soon.

We had a lovely dinner last night for steak night! The food was fantastic and we really enjoyed the evening. It has been a while between visits so I was surprised to find they didn't do table service, however, this didn't affect our night at all. Definitely recommend!

Enjoyed a family get together dinner at the Quarie restaurant. The food and service was good. I had the Duck Gnocchi, the flavour was good, the portion very large. My only real dislike was the noise, it was hard to conduct a conversation. I would dine here again.

The Quarie is a good little suburban bar & restaurant. It suffers from being understaffed, like most places now days. If you get in early for dinner you will be ok. The staff I encountered were all really good.

The food was good, pub grub, what you'd expect on the menu. The ribs were overcooked though and quite dry and the request for a middy glass of beer was charged and served instead as a schooner, which we couldn't finish.

We were a group of 5 and before we booked we had looked at the menu for vegetarian and gluten free options - they had vegetarian and gluten-free nachos on the menu. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The dish consisted of just corn chips, tomatoes, avocado, and sour cream. When I raised with the staff, they told me that the beans and corn were actually mixed in with the beef, making it unsuitable for vegetarians. What made it worse was that we weren't informed about this when we placed our order for a group of five. We only discovered this when the nachos arrived along with the other four meals we had ordered. It's a shame that there wasn't any other vegetarian option which was coeliac friendly.
