6/10Halloumi chips were recommended and they didn’t disappoint. The chicken burger was undercooked but they made me a new one and it was lovely. Servers were also lovely. Chairs and tables weren’t very clean.

8/10Large Parma for main that was nice. However the fork discount they told us when we arrived was only for main meals not entree so we only ordered mains. When booking was made this was not stated So am a little sceptical.

8/10A pub that serves pub food at a pub standard level. Nothing to rave about but no complaints either.

7.5/10Yum food.. very generous serves. Great vibe. We had 30 percent off the a la carte menu but was surprised that did not include our starters too though.

8/10Had lunch here on a Friday. It's an unpretentious pub - it delivers in this regard. Good food, reasonably priced,

5/10We didn't realise that this was a sports pub. We went to hear a band that was advertised as 8pm. When we got there it changed to 9.15pm. At 9.40pm that changed to after the football finishes! So we left! Drove a long way to hear the band, battled to find a carpark and it was all for nothing!

10/10Really nice food, clean and spacious. The serving sizes are great and all the meals were consistent. Being on a main street you'd think you would hear the cars or people from the outside but that's not the case at all. A great spot for a pub meal.

9/10I had booked this Pub because it was convenient for us all. We were having a post-Christmas catch-up with good family friends. Honestly not what we expected when we first walked in but that soon changed when we were greeted and welcomed by Caitlin. Her service went over and above and the food was good, honest pub grub. Definitely recommend and make sure she looks after you

5.5/10I have been to the Quarry quite a few times over many years. The food was extremely disappointing this time. The fish and squid were rubbery, and the lamb was a bit dry, the chips were over cooked. The service was fine, in that the staff were not rude or unkind, but they did not make it clear if it was table service or not. In the past, when sitting outside we have been required to go inside to order, but when sitting inside its been table service. Either is fine as long as the instructions are clear, and this staff were just a bit young and inexperienced, albeit pleasant. It was mostly the food that was very surprising. The guests we brought with us asked never to take them there again. I hope this was a once off experience, as the venue is in a good location and has previously been known for fresh, nicely cooked and well-priced pub food. Thanks.

6/10Went for an earlier dinner at 6:30pm with my friend on a Thursday night, the pub was not busy. Originally ordered a Chicken Schnitzel and Bangers and Mash over the counter from this waitress in blonde (didn’t get her name). I asked how much it would cost, she replied $46 however due to public holiday there’d be a 15% surcharge on top, making it $52.90 instead if that’s ok. I didn’t realize the 15% surcharge so I politely asked the waitress to hold the order let me go back to my table to inform my friend. Upon returning to my table I realized I didn’t have the menu with me so I returned to the counter to get the menu and back to my table. At this time, the waitress came to us, she carried the mobile efpos machine in her hand and firmly demanded me to pay now! I told her I haven’t decided to go ahead yet as I needed to discuss with my friend. She didn’t accept my explanation and kept shoving the efpos machine to my face pressuring me to pay up! I’ve never felt so humiliated in front of my friend and I said I would not pay for something I had not agreed. She kept pushing me to pay and she said the order has already been sent to the kitchen and it was too late. She kept saying “it’s too late” twice at me. Insisting that I must pay. Her manner became almost at a bullying state which made me feel embarrassed. I stood my ground. I knew my right and determined not being pressured on this, although I could understand how most people would be backed down by the pressure in this situation. The waitress said fine and warned that she’ll get her “manager” to speak to me and walked away. As we were still gazing at the menu feeling a bit of a sour taste, a lady approached us later from the kitchen and she wanted to know is everything ok. I explained my side of the story then she told us she’s the manager of the hotel and her name is Sophie. Sophie explained the reason the waitress was asking me to pay up because she has “sent” the order to the kitchen and instead of sending the cancellation she made us pay for the bill. It was the tone and attitude the waitress came across that made us feel that she was manipulative and this service was appalling. Sophie attempted to placate us with assurance that we shouldn’t have to pay for whatever we hadn’t agreed and she’ll simply send the cancellation to the kitchen. We have ordered a Chicken Schnitzel and a Spicy Cauliflower at the end. In fairness, the meal was pretty tasty and the portion was generous. As a second visit to Quarry Hotel, I find the service by this waitress and the whole experience egregious. And if this is how she “pressure” customers in similar situations, surely the business will be landing in the firing line of social media vitriol that’s intensifying with every negative comments and complaints. As we bid adieu to the Quarry Hotel and walking out to the door, I’m sure I won’t be back!

10/10Old school footy pub with awesome parmy, great beers and the best service. A real treat. We were really well looked after and the food was all cooked fresh. Best parmy I've had in many years.

7/10Had to wait too long. I think they forgot our order. After 40 minutes, and asking, food arrived. Steak was great. Burger was okay. Chips were very good.
