9.5/10Great food. Loved the Japanese influence to the menu. Busy place but service was good. Was told it’d be about a 30 minute wait for food which was fine while we had drinks.. Definitely recommend!

Directions to get there
Coming from town? Head West on Wallcliffe Rd from Bussell Highway and you'll find us less than 400m on the right. Coming from Caves Rd? Head East on Wallcliffe Rd and you'll see us on your left in 4.6km.
We have plenty of free parking in our car park off Wallcliffe Rd.

Welcome to The River Hotel of Margaret River, Western Australia.
Formerly known as the "Knights Inn" and Margaret River Resort, THE RIVER hosts a stunning front bar, casual restaurant and open front courtyard, along with our private function space and rear beer-garden.
Already hosting the likes of Paul Dempsey, The Beautiful Girls, Seth Sentry, Vikki Thorn (The Waifs), Stella Donnelly & Alex The Astronaut, Sola Rosa (NZ), San Cisco, Eric Bibb, Ash Grunwald, Nahko, Jeff Martin, Salmonella Dub and more - we're excited to continue engaging great domestic and international artists to perform at -THE RIVER-
