Great food, friendly service!
Excellent restaurant which I have used many times in the past. I will continue to do so
The food was excellent. Good wine list. Very reasonably priced. My only complaint was the service - too attentive to the point of intrusion. My suggestions - You don't need to keep asking if the meal is ok; once is enough if you must. Leave people's plates til everyone is finished; clearing up around people still eating is poor service. Ask if the diner wants their coffee with their dessert - don't serve everyone drinks except the person having a dessert who then waits and drinks while everyone else is finished... Small things but they would complement an excellent meal. Cheers.
Service & food was very disappointing
Good for views, food was very average. Service was super slow and we had to wait 15-20 mins between courses.
Great food & service
Excellent Food, and Vegan friendly which is great. Service was a little slow, which is no bother to us as it was a 6:30 booking My Wife and I will be back for a dinner again
The Saffron Waterfront restaurant has an easy to reach location on the waterfront (walking distance from the CBD) and it is reasonably priced. We ordered the Coconut Curry and Channa Masala (vegetarian) which were both delicious - the level of spice in the dishes were prefect and the food was delicious.
Great food and service we will return
Just a lovely way to thank a work colleague.
Overall satisfying experience
Great night out. Delicious meal. Quick service. Excellent location. Parking out front. Would like to see more Tasmanian wine choices on the drinks menu. Vindaloo spot on. Kids loved butter chicken.
A great Indian restaurant, yum
Quick service good mains but disappointing entrees
Wonderful night and amazing food! Great family vibe and felt very welcome! We will be back!
Great meal, thanks!
Can't wait to go back and try the remainder of the menu !!
Friendly service and really nice, freshly prepared Indian Food.
Meals weren't great, service was quite poor. Hard to get anyone's attention, and so slow to receive drinks and food. There are much better Indian restaurants in Hobart, with MUCH better service.

Spicier than a spice girl!
Located at the gateway to Hobart, the Saffron overlooks the Sullivans cove, a picturesque and historic waterfront. This is where you will find a combo of traditional and authentic dishes, inspired from North Indian and Kashmiri regions.
Take the fam and start by ordering as many entrees as your heart’s desire, there is plenty to pick from. The menu also offers a unique variety of tandoor and curry dishes, if there's any room left after the entree try the malabar curry. To complete your experience, grab a side of biryanis rice and the garlic naan is always a must!
