Excellent service! Amazing food! Great atmosphere in the dining area for meals plus great view! Much more of a pub atmosphere on the other side of the bar, very noisy but didn’t bother us at all in the dining area. Highly recommended!

We booked a table for 8. Number 21. Gorgeous views of the water and the sun going down. For our meal we choose share plates. Yum. Staff were very good

My 4th visit to The Savvy Squire - haven't been there on a Saturday nite before - found it a bit noisy - couldn't really talk to people at our table as it was hard to hear. The food and the service, as always, was top notch! However, everyone really enjoyed themselves and I'll be back! One BIG disappointment - no stuffed olives on the menu!!! WT.!!! Was looking forward to them :(

They would not consider making a very minor change to the menu (mashed potato rather than rice). Rather a bad impression especially we were the first and only customers in the restaurant at the time!

In the past we have dined extensively at Wharf Tavern, but this was our first visit since rebranding. The views are the same, the decor has been improved, and the meals and service were exceptional. It’s a lot pricier now though, so we will save this venue for special occasions only and not for regular visits.

Thought we'd try the new setup as we often used to dine at the old Wharf Tavern. Its been modernised, but still not too different from the old venue. The food was cooked to perfection, very happy with our meal choices of oysters and steaks. You couldn't fault the attentive service. Beer and wine choices great too. Overall though, quite a bit more expensive so we wouldn't be dining there as regularly as we used to, best for special occasions or out of town visitors only.

Customer service was fantastic, patient, attentive and flexible. Provided knowledge of service offerings and staff generally felt they liked working there. Everyone walked away talking about the food which is unusually in a large group... and on the coast meals can be a hit or miss. Thank you we will be back and so will everyone in the group! ??

Drinks too expensive. Food not worth the cost. Service was ok but not exceptional. Pool tables were much better where they were previously. We would have liked to play but didn’t want to go into the “pub” amongst all the AFL supporters. Would like to have seen a lunch specials as was previously there. That food was good enough for a weekend lunch with a cheap beer. Instead we are now paying top dollar for average food and too much for fancy beers because so much money has been spent on making the place look modern and hipster. Better before.

Some of our group chose to order a couple of smaller dishes and share them, but we found that the food was not hot wen it came out lost its appeal and so a lot of it wasn't eaten due to this
