The food was pretty good. The portion size was a bit strange - the kids meal hawaiin pizza was only slightly smaller in diameter than the regular adult pizzas, but the base was at least double if not triple the thickness!

Always wonderful food and attentive, joyful service. An absolute hidden gem in West Pymble, The Sawmill has wood-fired pizza that are simply the best with thin crispy bases and delicious toppings. For a change we had a special: Barramundi burgers which were simply delicious. Don't miss out on dessert either.....our favourite is the tiramisu! We have been coming to this restaurant for years and have never been disappointed - this is one of our top favourites. Be warned try The Sawmill and you will return on a regular basis - it is that good!

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant as there were mixed reviews but unfortunately was very disappointed. The pasta I and my daughter had was really unappetizing. Bordering on raw rather than al dente I left unfortunately vowing never to return. I had the pasta with the calamari as I thought it sounded something new and different, the calamari was flavorless and there was no sauce as promised Just tasted like sea water. What a shame for a local restaurant, staff were pleasant but does not make up for a disappointing meal

Love dining at the Sawmill. Great for a catch-up with friends and family. Local gem. Enjoyed a sharing meal of garlic prawn pizza, creamy seafood pasta, and tiramisu. My favourite for the night was the garlic prawn pizza. You must try.

Poor the staff were terrible and rude , no service Mothers Day menu was advised only when we arrived and the waitress who we had should not be in a service role Maybe a smile when you are doing you job The worse experience we have had

I love the Sawmill. Lovely local gem where food is of great and there is plenty parking. I tried the barramundi tonight. It was beautifully cooked, with crispy skin and on bed of refreshing watermelon and rocket salad.

I think last time we ate there, we had pasta. Tonight there were 3 of us and we all had pizza - 3 different ones. They were superb. It's a great little restaurant with excellent food, great service and a very pleasant atmosphere. Recommended.

My wife and I have eaten here a number of times over the years. Haven't seen it as busy as this for some time - delighted for the owners. However the downside for us was that it was very noisy given there were a number of young children, the service was slow and although the plates were warm the food was far from hot. The food was good and the service accommodating.

The sawmill is one of the best Italian restaurants we know. As regular customers for many years, we look forward to our visit every time. We have never been disappointed. The pizzas from their wood fired oven are perfect. I fully recommend The Sawmill without reservation....although it is wise to make a reservation!!!

Great local gem. Pizzas are great. Check out the truffle and mushroom pizza. The barramundi from the specials board was great, crispy skin and well cooked. For dessert you must try the freshly made mini doughnuts served Nutella.
