Had a lovely work related lunch - food never disappoints and staff were a delight. Very friendly and seemed proud of the venue and food they were serving - seeking feedback which is always a good indication of quality.
Menu was so small and completely different to what was advertised online. We got up and left the menu was so disappointing. The ship used to be the best place in Busso for a meal, now we will not be returning.
Another great meal with fast efficient service from the Ship!
Felt so welcome and not too sure who it was but the male that checked my ID was a really good bloke so appreciated it
Great food, some of the best seafood we've had recently. The salt and pepper squid portion was enormous, and my husband's fish (fish and chips) was delicious. The chips could have been hotter - I suspect the chips were added to the plate and then waited until the fish/squid was cooked.
First time in a long time we have been disappointed with the food.. 4 out of 11 people had to return food ???? steaks were not cooked as ordered, chicken burger was cold.. my second steak was a different cut to what was originally ordered.. but cooked well. Service was good and staff were very apologetic about the food and fixed the problem quickly.. We will be back!
The rump steak was under cooked slightly, the fish and chips were great the schnitzel was great, The squid ( if it is squid ) was fantastic
Busy spot for a Wednesday. Clean and the first place we have recently been to where we were comfortably socially distanced. Food was what you would expect from pub food. Husband was very happy with his steak.
I have eaten here twice in the past two months & the food was excellent with a lot of choice on a fabulous menu. We are here for my Sisters 30th so I booked the Ship Inn on my previous visits! The menu today was dismal & the food was nothing to write home about! The staff & service out front was a 10 could not fault it at all... I will not be in a hurry to book again on our next visit! Very disappointing! Had I’d gone in to book I would of realised the chefs & menus have changed, I don’t think I’ll be inclined to book online again!
Great service along with great food This place has never disappointed us Shall return again BQ wings are just so tasty Both had garlic prawn dish which we both enjoyed too
Always consistent , good generous pun food . Good, quick service .
As always the food was OMG, amazing! Had the eye fillet and it was cooked to perfection.. Always take our visiting family and friends to the Ship and are never disappointed.. plus the cheap drinks at Happy Hour time are a bonus :)
Considering how busy it was the meals came quite quickly. Happy hour was a bonus for drinks 5-6pm each day.
Food average overall not great for pub grub
Our table had the chicken wings with sriracha butter , fish and chips, squid and chips, and steak with side of garlic prawns. Food was tasty and came out really quickly after ordering (except for the side of garlic prawns which they forgot but after asking, it came out soon after as well). Service was excellent. Would go there again
The Ship Inn is always a great meal and a good time, we stop here every time we go through Bussleton and haven't been disappointed yet, probably been there over 10 times now, definitely recommended
The staff were excellent and the eating area nice and clean. Food was delivered in a nice time and was excellent. Meant to take a photo but was halfway through before I remembered. We had a dozen fresh oysters which were to die for and then a seniors meal of salt and pepper squid which was lovely.
The staff were lovely, our table was moved without much notice prior to the evening, no high chair provided even though requested. Tables were situated between 2 tvs in a very narrow high foot traffic area. Really not suitable for an event. Half of the family had to separate to the restaurant to be able to eat without being bumped. We could all barely hear each other talk due to the crowds, tvs and crammed area. Overall not a great experience and many expressed they won't return to the venue.
As always the food, the service and the prices were great.. even better that they have happy hour twice a day.. this is by far our favourite local :)
Good size servings, the rump steak was cooked to perfection, and Hubby really enjoyed his Seafood bowl. Good value for money. Will be back again.
