Went to the quiz night. A fun night out with a friend. Just one disappointment the new management do not cater for seniors for the evening meal, only till 3pm and then it’s limited to 3 choices. I’m a senior and do go out in the evening. The Ship use to do them.

Had a group of 14, each couple ordered separately. Every single persons side of chips were cold when the food arrived at the table. The chicken parmis were nice, but they had very few options. The steak sandwich came out so cold it was almost as if they had put it in the fridge. Then when it was sent back nicely, the food returned dangerously hot. There is no in between. You are strongly discouraged from ordering in person but they will reluctantly take your order. Used to be great, gone downhill and seems to keep getting worse. Service was basically non-existent until the food came.

It was quiz night and I get that it was noisy and would not have booked if I had known. Great night for those involved. Food was horrible. Had the fish and chips. Batter was very good - the fish snapper was in reality something else. My guess ‘Bassa’ or something equally nasty. I have eaten at the Ship many times and this was the worst meal I have had there. It is pub food but this was terrible. The menu was very limited. There was no pasta on offer - a given I would think .

Dreadful a couple of the guests got forgotten for their food everyone was finished before they then had to ask where are ours..the cake I brought for the party was suppose to be served with cream but NO brought cake out and when I asked them to cut it got an attitude then when cake came was hacked up not cut into peices at all and no cream discusting nearly everyone that had food complained about the new menu pricing and what was on it food was very very average..we wont be back.

It was good to see they have gone back to their earlier ways buy providing senior meals and putting salads and vegetables with the meals without having to order them separately. I am not a senior yet but noticed a drop in patronage with all these changes. It's back to normal again with the great food and service.

A family dinner, my niece leaving for Broome . It's a disappointing menu. Slow service on the foid to say quiet in the restaurant. My partner got his meal well before the 3 of us. Very poor presentation of the food. I must say I was happy I had earned $20 of my bill with the Fork app. Also, a mention to the lovely guy who collected the plates / glasses. He was from UK Harrogate very pleasant enjoyed my chat with him about his home town and travels. Lesley

Considering it was Valentine's day and they were very busy, the standard of food and service was outstanding.

Actual food ordering at the counter was slow. Food took an hour to arrive and others who came after us were served before us. Food was nice.

Although the dining area was nice & seemingly separate from the pub area the music from the speakers was a bit Loud for easy conversation when there re a lot of other diners. Food was lovely, service was polite & quick but there were only 2 items on the seniors list. In addition if you are using Fork points you cannot order the blackboard special as the you&me app ordering app has not been set up to select this option. So you can only order off the standard menu.

    The Ship InnOwner

Thank you for takng the time to post a review and providing your feedback, it's of great value to us! We do ope we see you again soon.

My meal was excellent and a good portion. The fish was delicious and the batter so light. Maybe a bit of salad would have complimented the meal. Chips were fresh and hot. The Ship Inn is my regular as I can walk from home. The receptionist kindly let me know when Jacqueline booked that there would be a quiz night happening so I booked an earlier time and finished our meal before the quiz commenced. I had friends from Perth with me they said their meal of cold salmon was delicious plus a great salad too.

    The Ship InnOwner

Thank you for your lovely review. I am delighted to hear, as a regular, that you are pleased with the services we provide. We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Kind regards from Sam & the Crew.
