The serving staff mixed up the steaks and sauces, and laughed. We had to wait a long time for a ceaser salad - which was forgotten/missed. Parmi was average.
The food was plentiful and of good value, the chicken parmi is my favourite and hubby really enjoyed the surf n turf. The bistro was clean and inviting. The staff were friendly and welcoming and well presented. We're looking forward to our next visit.
Good pub grub, but broken glass every where, even in the kids play area as one of our kids got a piece in her foot.Tables need a good clean as every thing was sticky, place has gone downhill since the last time we had a meal there.
Great food accomanied by great service & great company is always a winner. Ribs were finger licking good. Fish was cooked to perfection & tasty to boot. Thankyou.
We all enjoyed our meal. 2 of us had the pork belly with maple syrup, poached pear on sweet potato mash(Yum!!). Hubby had salt & pepper squid which was tender and tasty so he was very happy but he could not eat all the chips. Sister had BBQ chicken which I tasted. It was tender and full of flavour. Generous serves so we couldn't fit dessert in. Garlic bread was awesome. We will definitely be back. Last meal we had 2 years ago ( on holiday from Perth again) was also fab which was why we returned. So glad we chose The Ship Inn and not the newer restaurant The Shelter as 2 sets of friends have recently had awful meals there.
The food was good, the staff were friendly and efficient and we enjoyed our lunch. The only negative was that it was very noisy, but we expect that on. Friday
Excellent service lovely staff
Food was well cooked, especially the steaks.. service was great, friendly staff and happy hour drinks was a bonus ????
Food portions were good and very tasty
I was slightly disappointed at the changes to the menu - some perceived lack of value compared to the previous one. The staff as always were on top of their game and very welcoming. The meal was ok. This may be a response to the last lockdown .
Had a lovely work related lunch - food never disappoints and staff were a delight. Very friendly and seemed proud of the venue and food they were serving - seeking feedback which is always a good indication of quality.
Menu was so small and completely different to what was advertised online. We got up and left the menu was so disappointing. The ship used to be the best place in Busso for a meal, now we will not be returning.
Another great meal with fast efficient service from the Ship!
Felt so welcome and not too sure who it was but the male that checked my ID was a really good bloke so appreciated it
Great food, some of the best seafood we've had recently. The salt and pepper squid portion was enormous, and my husband's fish (fish and chips) was delicious. The chips could have been hotter - I suspect the chips were added to the plate and then waited until the fish/squid was cooked.
First time in a long time we have been disappointed with the food.. 4 out of 11 people had to return food ???? steaks were not cooked as ordered, chicken burger was cold.. my second steak was a different cut to what was originally ordered.. but cooked well. Service was good and staff were very apologetic about the food and fixed the problem quickly.. We will be back!
The rump steak was under cooked slightly, the fish and chips were great the schnitzel was great, The squid ( if it is squid ) was fantastic
Busy spot for a Wednesday. Clean and the first place we have recently been to where we were comfortably socially distanced. Food was what you would expect from pub food. Husband was very happy with his steak.
I have eaten here twice in the past two months & the food was excellent with a lot of choice on a fabulous menu. We are here for my Sisters 30th so I booked the Ship Inn on my previous visits! The menu today was dismal & the food was nothing to write home about! The staff & service out front was a 10 could not fault it at all... I will not be in a hurry to book again on our next visit! Very disappointing! Had I’d gone in to book I would of realised the chefs & menus have changed, I don’t think I’ll be inclined to book online again!
Great service along with great food This place has never disappointed us Shall return again BQ wings are just so tasty Both had garlic prawn dish which we both enjoyed too
