Very quiet dinner on Australia Day , but totally enjoyed it , food presentation fab !

Great food and location. Bit busy on our Friday night visit so service took a bit longer but still worth the wait.

The service was good. There are stairs up to the restaurant but the is also a small lift that people unable to use the stairs can use which is good.

The service and food were great. It is a very busy and noisy venue, it would be good if there were areas which were a bit more sedate, maybe a piano bar area on the rooftop as the building is fabulous and could be so much more unique.

About The Stables Bar

Good enough for royalty If the fact that Prince Harry dined here isn’t enough to lure you in then we don’t know what is! If it’s good enough for royalty then surely it’s up to scratch for you too. But seriously, all Prince aside, The Stables Bar really is a seriously cracking venue in the heart of Perth’s CBD. Situated at the end of Hay Street laneway the Stables features two levels of bar and dining experiences, including an outdoor bar with views of the city and a cobblestone courtyard that transports you to a calm oasis - away from the hustle and bustle of the city. At the helm of the kitchen is Ben Keal who presents diners with a refreshing take on modern Australian dining, creating honest, hearty food that’s designed to share. The crumbed zucchini chips with basil mayonnaise are painstakingly good as are the beef brisket tacos with grilled pineapple, coriander and jalapeño salsa. Whether you chose something from the all day grazing, main or dessert section you’ll be neighing with sheer and utter delight. Best dish: sumac dusted lamb shank with toasted rye, cauliflower, harissa yoghurt and dukkah.
