8.8/10I am lucky enough to live only a short walk from the Stonemill and have eaten here on several occasions. The food is always fresh and, like all good Italian food, absolutely delicious. This is an old school Italian restaurant that makes you feel at home. The lighting is muted and you can actually hold a conversation with your fellow diners without having to yell. The serves are generous and great value for money. Yum!

8/10On a cold and wet Sunday lunchtime our family group was the only table for most of the time (another family arrived later). We received a warm welcome and the service was fine. We enjoyed the share platters of meats and cheeses and the authenticity of serving the gnocchi in frying pans. The pizza crusts were great too and seemed to differ depending on the topping. We would certainly recommend Stonemill 347 and would happily return.

7.8/10This was our first visit to The Stonemill 347 even though we live a two minute walk away. In short, the food was delicious. We shared the Arancini which were crunchy on the outside and tasty inside with perfectly cooked rice. I had the Gnocchi Ragu which was rich and delicious. My partner had the Linguine with Seafood and a tomato based sauce which is cooked in a paper parcel. The parcel was opened at the table and the aroma was incredible - as was the flavour which was obviously intensified by the cooking process. How we managed to fit in the chocolate ricotta cake, I don't know, but I am glad we did. We'll be back.

9.8/10We had a terrific night here - it was the perfect mid point between fine dinning and feeling like family cooking. Authentic and non-fussy, while still being high quality. We will absolutely return soon.

Your home away from home The Stonemill 347 Food & Wine Bar is one of East Brunswick's newest gems. This smart restaurant and cosy cafe has a contemporary and welcoming feel. Decorated with quirky industrial lights and pretty light wood furniture, this place has an upbeat and warm atmosphere that feels like home. The place is considered by many to be the alter-ego of its owner Salvo, whose hospitable and vibrant personality is famous around these parts. His restaurant is more than welcome in the upper end of Lygon Street, which is a bit more chilled than the Carlton side. The Stonemill has got all the sophistication of Lygon Street but with a homey, laid back vibe. So what's their speciality? The Stonemill 347 Food & Wine Bar is really all about pasta – and homemade pasta at that. In fact, they make all of their pasta-goodies by hand daily, so you know you're getting the freshest of the fresh. Combine that with seasonal fresh produce and you've got amazing Italian dishes that'll give you a new reason for getting out of bed in the morning. Don't sleep in too late – breakfast is at The Stonemill. Best dish Frutti di Mare- their creamy seafood pasta
