On a see-food diet Gather by Hobson’s Bay in one of Melbourne's most classic, yet relaxing settings. The bright dining space, delicious cuisine, beautiful views and friendly staff make this one of our favourite restos in Williamstown. The menu is carefully divided between ‘starters’, ‘field’, ‘paddock’ and ‘ocean’, and features everything from scallop ceviche to Gippsland grass fed Black Angus. There is also an extensive cheese menu and a selection of delicious desserts. Given the seaside location start with a few freshly shucked oysters and the tempura soft shell crab. Other menu highlights include whole South Australian rock lobster, 150 grain fed Black Angus and the Shellfish Tower. Trust us, food by the sea doesn’t get much better than this. Best dish: Shellfish Tower to share - whole king prawns, crab, scallops with garlic & parsley butter, battered King George Whiting, oysters natural and Kilpatrick, Port Arlington mussels in marinière sauce, french fries and garden salad.
