Excellent
Sophisticated food, excellent international wine list, delightful Lou and Tom!
Stunning food, excuse the pun. The tooth fish is the star
Had a great experience there the food was fantastic great tasting food would recommend to go there if u wont ur taste buds to go wild over the food will be back for more
Totally over priced. Cheapest bottle of wine $72!! Seriously need to readjust their attitude with their prices. Not even to have table cloths on the table for the mandatory $95 a head menu. No thanks. More like stunned wallet.
Food was excellent although choice was a bit limited esp dessert.
The great and consistent quality of the food is a given for this restaurant. The attention to ensuring compliance with current health restrictions is also much appreciated. We are looking forward to our next great experience.
What a fine dining experience surprise in Port Macquarie. It’s no 1 for a reason! Professional and quick entry and registration
The food was outstanding, a great culinary experience. We really enjoyed it. Fantastic service and good atmosphere
Food was delicious and service was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered, especially the wagyu hanger steak and scampi linguine. The salted creme caramel wasn’t exactly what we anticipated and was upstaged by the mouth watering sesame feuille and mango sorbet. Still enjoyed the creme caramel though and would definitely recommend this restaurant to all lovers of fine dining.
We had our anniversary dinner. Food was delicious. Oysters were fresh and tasty, tooth fish was light and amazing. My husband had eye fillet, he loved the touch of wasabi on the steak. We really enjoyed our dinner tonight and would definitely recommend this place to all our friends!
My partner and I tried this restaurant and ordered everything that was recommended by our waiter from the dinner set menu - so delicious! We’ll be back for those juicy scallops!
We had dinner at the Stunned Mullet during our stay at Port Macquarie. We had the seared scallops, crisp king prawns, scampi linguine, waguy steak, creme caramel and Japanese cotton cake. All dishes were delicious. We particularly love the Asian flavours in the dishes. This is one of my favourite hatted restaurants in regional NSW and I can't wait to come back for more.
Wonderful spot with simple yet amazing menu. Amazing wine list with smaller mark up than you’d find in most places.
Always a special occasion at The Stunned Mullet. Great food, wine and Service.
Great vibe! amazing food, incredible wine list!
Highly recommended, great food, great service! Thank you for a lovely experience.
The consistently high quality of food and service is never a surprise at The Stunned Mullet’s
The food was excellent and the scampi pasta was well balanced. The wait staff were friendly and provided great recommendations. The ambience of the restaurant was nice and well spaced out. We look forward to coming back.
Terrific food service Wonderful evening
We really enjoyed the dining experience, food was excellent as was the service. We thought the location and restaurant decor was ideal as was the extensive wine list.

Food to shock and awe
Anyone who thinks the food in Port Macquarie isn’t world class needs to think again. The award-winning team behind The Stunned Mullet has gone from strength to strength in the decade since they opened, turning out fresh and exciting food for their large base of local (and visiting) fans. The menu is broken up into “the smalls”, “the substantials”, “the incidentals” (ie sides) and “the sweet stuff”, and you could quite honestly just pick a dish by pointing your finger at the menu without looking and know that you were going to be getting something delicious. After all, how can you go wrong with a line-up that includes grilled lobster tail with ajo blanco, green gazpacho and radish, as well as confit duck leg with truffled mash and sour cherry? Or put your meal in the hands of the producers by choosing the “Fishmonger’s Choice” for your main, which will be a piece of sustainable, line caught fish (chosen by the local fishmonger, of course) served with an olive and panko crust on a carrot and lemongrass puree. It will be so delicious you really will be left stunned.
Best dish: smoked eggplant terrine
