Views are best during the day as you can't see the ocean at night. Food is great but the menu doesn't seem to have changed in a long time.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. In a way they participated in the meal, which was a birthday reunion.

They had a better chef in the past. This one is OK but wouldn't rate him/her too highly

The view, the food was excellent although a little overpriced. The wait staff were great and didn't make you feel like you had to finish and move on so they could reuse the table. Couldn't have asked for a better view.

About The Surf Club Bribie Island

Surfs Up As highlighted on their website, this venue is fabulous for everyone, particularly families, and really anyone wanting a brilliant view of the ocean and surrounds whilst kicking back. The Surf Club Bribie has won ”Best Dining” in the small club section three years in a row and is proudly in their Hall of Fame (Clubs Queensland). A casual dining room with funky, simple wooden tables and crisp linen creates a breezy space to enjoy their menu, which is heavy on the seafood as one would hope, but has a great selection of steaks, salads, and some signature dishes. A highlight is the grassed area for the kids to play - sometimes even a bouncy castle. Plenty of beers on tap, and a healthy wine list means that you can enjoy a cooling beverage whilst gazing out to sea upon some of the best scenery around. A cute kids menu for the ‘Lil Nippers’ and a sumptuous selection of steaks and even seafood are a winner in the Chargrill section of the venue. Come in for a lazy breakfast or brunch in their Sunday buffet – be sure to bring the paper as you have half the day to enjoy. Best dish: Szechuan Squid
