It was our first visit. the entrees were prepared in advance and cold. The samosa had a hard shell and appears to have being prepared long time ago....Not recommended. The spinach entree slightly better but not warm enough and not appealing... The mains ok but nothing special
Consistently great food, friendly welcoming staff and nice selection of drinks. Would especially recommend the Dal Makhani
tonnes of explicitly gluten free and vegan options which was great for me personally, nice atmosphere and good food. top service too. But they do have a $5 surcharge for groups larger then 6 which I can't figure out why
Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere and the staff were friendly and helpful. Only criticism is the price of the non alcoholic drinks. Will definitely visit again.

Awesome deal from the Fork Festival! Cocktail recommendation was delicious (MQ2 or something like that). Tandoori chicken was so tender but I wished it was a bit spicier. Same with the eggplant bowl dish. Go for the spiciest option if you like chilli!

The food isn’t as tasty as nawaz in Glebe in my Humble opinion. The restaurant is nice and quirky and we were made to feel very welcome and the service is very good.
I am not normally a big fan of Indian food but I was tempted to try this local restaurant based on the excellent reviews and the Fork offer. I am pleased to say that the food was good and we enjoyed the experience.
Food was good. But very slow (over 2 hours - about 80-90 mins of which was waiting for our order to arrive). We took advantage of a 50% discount through The Fork, as did the vast majority of diners. The kitchen had difficulty keeping up with demand (of those present plus takeaway orders). Have visited on another occasion when service was much prompter.
As a local I was keen to try The Twisted Indian. I won’t be returning. We asked one of the wait staff about some of the dishes, but she actually didn’t know what they were, and had to get another waitress to come up and describe the dishes. The food took almost an hour to arrive (and the restaurant wasn’t even busy), and when it did arrive the order was wrong - they had brought a veggie dish instead of the lamb we ordered. The setting was nice enough, however, upstairs where we sat was very echoey, and the man at the next table had quite a loud voice which made it difficult to carry on with our conversation.
Really interesting atmosphere. Cocktails were different and yummy. Most of the food was delicious, especially the tandoor prawns but the eggplant curry had really tough skin and wasn’t very palatable.
We went to Twisted Indian with a large group for a birthday dinner and were happy with the dishes on offer to suit each taste. The cocktails were interestingly different and very enjoyable. We also quite liked the ambience of the place.
My friend and I went along to eat here and we came away thinking it may have been the best dining experience either of us has had in Sydney. Every dish we had stood out in some way: the Monk on Fire was the pick for me but it had very stiff competition from the pesto paneer tandoori. And the methi maas with lamb. And the blue cheese naan. My friend is vegetarian and found the range of options to him to be very impressive, with the vegetarian tacos his top pick for the evening. Presentation, balance of flavour, service, vibe: all were on point. Honestly, this place cannot be faulted and we will be back in a heartbeat.

LoveD this restaurant it was a lovely surprise. As they did craft beers and cocktails! Butter chicken was amazing and the garlic nan was delicious! We will be back

We enjoyed the food and ambience, everything was really nice. Would definitely go back & recommend to others. We had a bit of food leftover which unfortunately went to waste, if you book through Fork they won’t allow any leftovers to be packed to take home. Otherwise it was a pleasant and lovely night out ????????
