Really average food. My vegan brother-in-law (he has MS, not just a picky eater) was served HALF A MUSHROOM as part of his breakfast - very strange indeed. Only 2 out of the 10 of us had an OK meal, the rest were below average. My ice tea was nice.

We loved dining here before a show at the Enmore. It has a lovely vibe and we enjoyed the tapas. Our bill was higher because we had cocktails and wine - otherwise value was excellent. Thoroughly recommend.

We ordered the seafood paella and it was very good. The rice was cooked perfectly. The serve is definitely enough for two people dining. The service is outstanding. We will definitely be back for breakfast and to try the other hispanic dishes.

The sign with the name of the restaurant was so small we walked right past. It was lucky our friends were inside and ran out to find us otherwise we would still be walking. Overall the food was good and not expensive. Found it was quite warm inside but no airconditioning.

About the restaurant

A blend of three cuisines

Welcome to the Vintage Cafe, an all day eatery that provides a nice contrast between Spanish, Portuguese and Mediterranean food with lots of special dishes always on offer. Expect all of your eggy favourites for breakfast and then a range of tasty sandwiches, salads and burgers for lunch. Come dinner time, tapas and petisco plates dominate the menu, with a selection of paellas available too. And don’t forget to ask about the daily specials, they’re usually banging.

Best dish: Mediterranean meatballs with tomato and herb sauce, parmesan cheese and basil
