This restaurant was great. Very surprising being we are in the outback QLD. Our best meal so far. Food Service and atmosphere was great. Highly recommend to come for a meal here! Thank you.

We were disappointed that you had to pay for your choice of meat then pay extra for your vegetables or corn or chip and extra again for a sauce. Fir the price of the meal that was charged I would expect to have your choice or salad or vegetables if sauce included in the price. But add a steak for $35 then add each of the others and it’s a very expensive meal.

Good atmosphere and singer Lachie Cossor is a good entertainer.... Ordered Lamb shank and mash. Shank was great, mash was lumpy. Shell ordered Lemon peppered squid, pork belly and roast veges. Squid was battered air... roast veges was pumpkin (edible), beetroot and not even sure what the other lumps were. No potatoes and was mud tasting. Pork belly was great! ????‍♂️ When the waiter picked up our plates and asked how it was, advised it was a mixed result. He said sorry and walked away lol. Won't eat here or stay at the park again unfortunately.

The food was delicious but unfortunately two of our 4 meals (the beef ribs) were cold - roast veggies were yum. I took a takeout container and will enjoy the ribs hot tomorrow night

This is a mixed review. Generally the food was very ordinary and overpriced. Why charge $25 for a basic meal and then charge extra for chips or vegetables. My husband ordered Scotch Fillet medium rare with mushrooms sauce. Firstly it was NOT Scotch Fillet but some steak cut thin then it was very very rare on the plate. I had the ribs/rib which was great. Entertainment excellent.

My husband and I had dinner here tonight and it was great. The steaks were cooked as requested and the sauces were delicious . The service was efficient and Lachie Crosser sang some old country favourites. The atmosphere was happy and relaxed. Would definitely visit again.

Staying at the van park so just had to walk to it from our caravan. Food was excellent . Had the barramundi with sweet potato mash and greens. Absolutely delicious. Great entertainment and atmosphere

Very disappointed to the point we didn’t end up ordering dinner. I pre booked a table to get there and have to share a table squishing in with another couple. I’m all for enjoying live music entertainment with dinner and drinks but the music was terribly loud throughout the entire venue so early in the evening. Purchased a overpriced beer and took one look at the overpriced menu and left.

Had been to the woodshed in previous years and had wonderful meals from a set menu for expected outback meals such as meats platter, steaks etc. The meal choices this time were a Chinese smorgasbord, salmon, chicken schnitzel or 1/2 rack of ribs. Not exactly what you would expect from a “Woolshed” in holiday season. The chicken schnitzel meal was beautiful, don’t get me wrong, but the menu was just not what we were expecting.

We expected a la carte and we’re disappointed to pay $39 for a basic roast There was no communication regarding the menu. We arrived at 630 and there was very little food.
