It’s one of my favourite best place for smoky meaty meals with bold flavours.

Amazing food, always recommend Third Wave Cafe to all of my friends. Best BBQ in the whole of Melbourne!

We'll be back and order less food since we were stuffed and had to get doggie bags for the dogs. It got painfully noisy by about 7pm when it was filling up so we'll be dining early again next time.

Pork ribs were very tasty and just came off the bone. Didn't have the burgers but they looked fantastic especially the ribosaurus - must try it next time! Highly recommended for carnivores.

Absolutely fantastic BBQ meats with their incredibly well made burgers. The sides are to kill too, the cornbread chips and the onion rings are the best ones i've had in any Melbourne restaurant.

Using the 50% off was such a great deal. We saved a lot and got to try out a new place. The food was great.

Absolutely fantastic BBQ meats and amazing sides to complement them with. The cornbread chips especially are a great side to eat with the delicious BBQ or burgers.

About Third Wave Cafe Port Melbourne

Wave hello Third wave cafe is a charming little place in Port Melbourne with an ambient interior and beachy outdoor area. Third Wave doubles as a cafe by day and an American-style BBQ house by night. Meats are slow cooked and smoked with a range of different woods like hickory and apple, producing delicious and subtle flavours. The juicy pork ribs are done Southern style using dry spices and two different kinds of sauces. And their beef ribs are made from a one-of-a-kind recipe, with an unforgettable blend of nine spices and hot sauce. They even have a number of Russian dishes that include the crepe-like blintzes, filled with meat, cheese or vegetarian ingredients, and Russian dumplings known as pelmeni. This place is just full of surprises! Their specials menu will wow you with super-delicious American goodies like the maple syrup candied bacon and Texan fried brisket. Gluten free options are aplenty and vegetarians need not miss out. Best dish: beef ribs
