We had a booking and our table wasn't ready when we showed up. Instead, they put us on a really awkward table in the middle of the walkway. Also, we were told food was delayed and will take about 20 mins. However, we waited close to an hour for our food. When the food came out, our burger had flat toasted white bread instead of a burger bun. We asked them why it didn't have a burger bun, only to be told they had sold out. I felt like an hour wait was ample time to let us know that the burger bun was sold out. Very average food with very average service. would not recommend and will not be returning.

Overall we were happy with our brunch for 8 people, service was a little bit slow. I ordered the vegetarian version of my meal (on the menu it had a vegetarian version and I even checked that they would replace the bacon with avocado) but I had to send it back because it had bits of bacon in it. They replaced it, no problem, and everyone else enjoyed their meal. It was a little bit of a downer because it was my birthday brunch, and we had to put more money in the parking meter waiting for my replacement, but all was good in the end.

Food tasty and service good. Hard to see menue, lighting too dim even in the daylight.

Great layout, from decor to menu and that is without even talking about the food. Great place, thanks

Overall foods are ok, coffee is nice but do not aspect any service from them. The cafe don't have any air condition so it's very humid and warm on the day we dined in. Environmental and atmosphere wasn't as good as soon as shown.

very disappointing, would not go there again or recommend it. For $60 pp it was not worth it - some of the food was ok but the dessert was terrible - undercooked. No BYO allowed but then they ran out of wine, ordered a gin and tonic which when it came was a gin and soda - told they do not have tonic but no mention we my g & t was ordered. So disappointed as it was a joint birthday celebration - feeling really ripped off.

About Three Bears Kitchen

Three cheers for Three Bears A short walk from the beautiful Hunter River, Three Bears Kitchen is a little gem you’ll be glad you discovered. Decked out in some of the coolest decor in Newcastle, this restaurant delivers some fantastic food with great service in an unforgettable setting. The menu here is stellar, presenting a bunch of seriously delicious sandwiches like the Class NY Deli Reuben Melt and the Fried Chicken Po’Boy. No good restaurant is complete without a great drinks list, and these guys have some awesome shakes to complement their great food. The Bear Necessity and Shamrock Bear are too examples you won’t be able to keep your hands off. As far as restaurants go, this one isn’t too hot, too cold, but just right! Check it out! Best Dish: Three Bears Burger
