9.5/10Great food, lovely drinks, quick service, that suited us as we had something to attend. A little noisy at times, but that's people enjoying themselves.

8/10The food is good but even though we booked they didn’t have a table for us. We needed to wait 15 to 20 minutes, so that was a disappointment when dining with small children.

8/10Great restaurant. Be prepared for indecision because the menu is huge. Will need to go back to try more. Chicken tikka masala was excellent, wasn’t a big fan of the samosa bites though.

4/10Unfortunately I'm unable to comment on the food because we weren't even able to get a table after making a reservation. First time I've been to a restaurant where I had to queue up after booking and showing up on time. Not only that they also sent me a reservation reminder text with the wrong date on a wrong day and did not bother to respond after I replied. We left after 10 mins as we just couldn't comprehend why would the restaurant take reservations but still make customers wait upon arrival.

7.5/10this is a great place to have a meal with lots of people. The menu is extensive and very interesting. The food is good and so is the service. The music can be loud but that is the vibe of the place.

9.5/10The ambience and food was exceptional. Given that it was light on, I would like them to focus on improving their service levels. Apart from that, I enjoyed dining at this restaurant, and for sure will repeat my visit. Best part of it was that I found the food to be tasty, fresh and unique/different from a normal restaurant that made my visit enjoyable.

8/10Quick and friendly service. Ample choices and decent portions of portions. Place is quite popular and finding parking nearby could be a trickster.

9/10First time to experience quite an upscale set up of Indian restaurant with a twist. We really enjoyed the authentic indian food and the presentation is amazing having the rainbow colours on the dish and the taste is fantastic! A must to visit and eat when in Canberra and book before coming here to avoid the wait & queue!

6.5/10This street food restaurant provided what it promised: a vibrant setting, pleasant service and a variety of tastes. Although the food was only reasonable, rather than wonderful, we enjoyed ourselves. My noodles were a disappointment, firm pieces of chicken in a mound of noodles, rather than succulent meat and fewer noodles. Very short on salad where salad was offered, and a very basic raita. The mint chutney was nice. The best meal was the lamb curry with rice. The cauliflower dhosa was quite good. I'd go again, just to try another type of offering from the lengthy menu.

6/10I have been to this place for a few years now and mostly enjoyed the food and the service. However, I was disappointed by the service last night. The buzzer was malfunctional, which the female waitress gave a heads up on. On placing the order, we specifically asked for the drinks to be brought out first along with the snacks, followed by other items. There was so much confusion around drinks and they completely missed one drink, which didn’t arrive even after we finished our food, despite repeated reminders. The icing on the cake was - we called a male waiter and asked for the drink to be cancelled. We were appalled by his rudeness and behaviour – not a bit of hospitality was shown. The girls were lovely and apologetic, however when asked for the manager, we were told that the ‘rude’ guy was the supervisor for the evening. We realised that there’s no point in taking this further. I know the work can be stressful, but that’s no excuse for being rude on the customers – the sole purpose of working in hospitality services has been missed!

Traditional indian and contemporary fusion!
Tikka Take prides itself on its fast meals that are still gourmet and high quality in every aspect. They attempt to cater to all palates, whether that be for something light and easy, or hearty and full of flavour. The food draws on the influence of Central Asian and Indian cuisine, with new and unique flavours and combinations spicing up your meal. The owners, Ankit and Jyoti Patel, describe ‘tikka' as an ‘ancient food' which incorporates ‘the cooking [of] meat on skewers over heat'. They represent an interesting way to enjoy tikka, which can be accompanied with your own DIY juice made at the juice bar in the restaurant. Bring your friends and family to Tikka Take and experience new sensations and flavours!
