Quality of the dishes was really good but the service could be better and friendlier, especially when you’re the only guests at the restaurant.

Perfect service. Didnt speak english only. Food was good. Nice ambiance with the music. Beautiful view if you go to the terrace.

The atmosphere, service, and food were all outstanding. The employees went out of their way to help us understand the traditional Portuguese dishes, and they made excellent recommendations. Thank you to the Torreao staff for a wonderful meal.

It was a crisp and rainy evening so the terrace was closed however the table inside the restaurant was so nice. The service was great! I strongly recommend this place for a romantic night! The server’s service was more than ‘great’! Thank you :)

The setting is very nice, the service is great, but the music is a little bit loud and the dishes are too salty in my opinion.

Beautiful place with delicious food and top service. I had octopus salad as a starter and that was the best octopus salad I have ever had in my life. Confit black pig cheeks as a main, portion was huge, meat was delicious but I didn’t like the sweet mashed potatoes. For the desert I had smoked chocolate mousse, which is very surprising at the first taste with the smoked taste being very strong and has an amazing structure, just a little bit too sweet for me. I really enjoyed my brunch there!

Such an acclaimed restaurant, yet utterly terrible flavourless food and entitled waiters. The vegetarian option was "hamburger with baked potatoes", from this description, and in this restaurant I would have expected a well prepared flavorful dish. What I got was two microwave burgers with mix salad and boiled potatoes. Something I would expect from the place around the corner. The restaurant didn't bother creating their own dish, threw a couple of very bad supermarket patties in the microwave and boiled potatoes without any seasoning. With this restaurant's reputation, this was a disastrous meal. Without a doubt the worst meal I've ever had to pay for. The meat and fish dishes were also utterly flavourless according to the rest of the guests, something you wouldn't expect from the overpriced menu! To top it all off, the waiter was rude, entitled and intrusive and kept telling the guests off. Rushing them to decide on plates, when asked to wait a minute responded he didn't have a minute. And at 11pm was rushing guests, very impolitely if I might add, to order coffees and deserts as they were keen on closing the restaurant. One of the worst experiences possible. We certainly won't be coming back nor do we recommend to anyone.

Lovely restaurant in a beautiful old house atop one of Porto’s many hills. Fine dining with good old school service. We had salt cod and flank steak and both were very enjoyable.

Come for the beautiful view and stay to enjoy the great selection of local wines and delicious food. A definite must try any time you are in Porto. As an added bonus, the sunsets from here are amazing!!
