Excellent
We were greeted so warmly and served so beautifully. The food is absolutely superb, I love the 'waves of food' options; then they choose for you working around your likes and dislikes. The flavours and the presentation is simply delicious and delightful. I will be back! Well done guys!
Fantastic service and mouth watering food. Delicious restaurant hidden away amongst all the other shops in this beautiful street . A hidden gem !!!
Went for the Rib Eye but they had ran out which was disappointing. Always good service & quality food/Wine though. The in house made bread & butter never disappoints!
A first time visit for the two of us. Great service, clever food, a good wine list and a a casual feel to the restaurant. Does it get any better? Well done Tulip
Excellent service great ambience and delicious food!!
The staff were very welcoming. The share type menu was a lovely way to try a number of dishes. The food arrived quickly. It was fresh and very tasty. The oysters were particularly amazing as was the slow cooked lamb. We will definitely be back.
Best restaurant in Geelong hands down
My tastebuds were treated to exciting new experiences. What a delight for the senses; visually attractive, smelled so yummy & a wonderful range of textures. Presented with imagination and flare.
Tulip catered seamlessly for food allergy with food which did not feel like a compromise from general diner's menu. All savoury courses were exquisite but the desert let the evening down. Food server failed to identify meals upon delivery & in one instance failed to identify the need for flatware, however the waiter was subtly attentive and responsive.
Brilliant food... can't say enough about the food. Though we had to ask for bread which usually comes out straight away to every table. (The bread is amazing too by the way).
Extremely lovely atmosphere food and wine
Only problem I had was it was too dark I couldn’t even read the menu
Wonderful service. Generous portions for shared plates.
Chance find while we're in town for short trip away from home. Picked this for dinner for its name sake as I love Tulips... My daughter and I were most impressed.
ANOTHER FANTASTIC DINNER @ TUTIP! THIS IS OUR FAVOURITE RESTAURANT IN GEELONG. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS HOWEVER, LAST NIGHT THE CURED FISH AND THE CHICKEN WERE HEAVENLY! CAN’T WAIT TO GO BACK.
High Quality dining experience. Expensive but worth it for the experience. All accolades are well deserved with tasty, unique and meals of the highest quality. Definitely one to try for a great dining experience.
Great atmosphere, food and service

A hidden gem in Geelong’s metropol
It's pretty easy to miss the latest restaurant from chefs Matt Dempsey and Graham Jefferies. Their restaurant Tulip is camouflaged as a hole-in-the-wall café in Geelong’s metropol - narrow and quaint with a sweet table for two out the front masks its interior. But wait - just before you start worrying on their behalf about economies of scale, it opens up into a respectable-sized place with all the polished concrete, pale timber and decorative terracotta pots a diner could wish for (well let’s face it, this decor almost a prerequisite these days). Tulip is a mix of well executed contemporary-ness, with trendy crockery and pleasing prices. The menu offers a wonderful mix of flavours and exciting dishes, inviting diners to share and sample everything. Spoilt for choice? You can simply ask for the ‘chef’s selection’ at $65 per person. Flexibility, simplicity and quality combine making Tulip a unique dining experience.
Best Dish: grilled octopus with chorizo, capsicum and fennel.
