A classic Thai spicy and sour, clear seafood soup fragrant with basil leaves, lemongrass, galangal and kaffir lime leaves
Forgot to process my The Fork booking but was able to facilitate a table for us half an hour earlier than planned. Food is generally good here but the beef massaman was watery and oily than usual. The new desserts with coconut sago and taro are great.
I would recommend calling the restaurant to check that the reservation has been picked up on their end. We showed up and they had no record of our booking even though we received an email from The Fork on the morning reconfirming the booking. Luckily for us there was a table left otherwise we would have had to look for other alternatives for dinner.
Outstanding value for money with professional service. Negative, was where there was an out-of-stock COLD wine selection which isn't good enough. This isn't Bangkok, we are a nation of drinkers. All-in-all a tremendous restaurant and well worth the journey from Cronulla . . . . . . we'll come again.
Quick service, good food
Great Thai. Good portion sizes
The service was terrible and slow. The staff member would forget requests we had made - even small ones. The staff member did not seem to care about the customers.
Best Thai in the south west
We had a large group here for dinner including some visitors overseas. Very impressed with the authenticity and quality of food - and very cheap too. Our visitors gushed over how tasty everything was.
This place does the best salt and pepper squid!
Foods come out fast.
Great neighbourhood local restaurant
This place is a great local gem in canley heights, serving up traditional Thai food.
The food was great! Menu wise there was somewhat limited variety, however, the dishes are done well.
Nice local gem
We get to d restaurant good service, nice ambiance, food is ok...but when we asked for our bills,n I mentioned about our 20%discount ..they said they don’t honour it anymore...the lady said that they forgot to take it out in their Dimmi web page....so,we insisted that if you did not take it out ,it’s not our fault so,that is false advertising...so,in d end they gave it to us d 20%discount ..that is just not right to advertise n to get told that d offer is not on anymore...so pls..follow up w/your restaurant to avoid problems...
So my partner and I have been trying different Thai restaurants lately (courtesy of Dimmi) and this time decided to try Twelve Spices at Canley Heights. The decor of the restaurant was very nice and gave off a sophisticated vibe - the chairs were very comfy! Now... onto the important things.. the food! We ate Curry Puffs for entree, they were quite nice but the pastry was a bit too thick for my liking. For main meals we chowed down on some Cashew Nut Chicken and Panang Curry. I'm pretty sure that the Panang Curry was one of the tastiest Curries that I have ever eaten - absolutely loved it! The Cashew Nut Chicken also had a great taste to it, definitely recommend both items. I also had a Lychee Frappe and that was pretty nice too. Prices were cheap and the the sizes of the dishes were decent.
