Very overrated. Very small range to choose from; average tasting food good service, advertised as aircon/climate controlled but was hot and open. Won't be going back

Specifically went for the breakfast tower but was not available due to recent move to new 'pop up' premises. A shame this wasn't advertised. Ordered the Tomato eggs benedict. Unfortunately my eggs were raw in the white parts, I hate this, and the tomato just made the hollandaise waterery. My husband liked the sausage and mushrooms on the big breakfast plate but otherwise not worth the money you pay. The service was friendly but the food took a long time to come out. I'm hoping all of the above is just due to the move and not being settled in, perhaps a different menu should be offered while working out of a smaller kitchen at the pop up location. We will try again when they move to their permanent location but would avoid the 'pop up'.

About Two Fat Blokes Gourmet Kitchen

Oh so phat! Run by a couple of rather rotund fellas, Two Fat Blokes Gourmet Kitchen is all about good food, great wine and sharing it with others. Set in the Hunter Valley this historic winery/restaurant was originally established in 1853 and it continues to deliver the very essence of the ‘Hunter Lifestyle’: lazy long lunches followed a crisp glass of vino on the verandah. The restaurant delivers all kinds of dining experiences, you can enjoy a delicious morning coffee and some breaky, a casual lunch based around sharing plates or a more formal dining experience. There is also an extensive range of authentic small goods sourced from artisan producers, plus they also have live music every Saturday and Sunday (weather permitting). Escape the everyday and get to this Hunter hotspot. Best dish: 300gm Angus Sirloin: grilled & topped with a bug mornay with potato gallette, roast parsnips & Tar 10 perserved lemon.
