Excellent
Absolutely incredible experience, we are so glad that we made this part of our holiday. We are speechless for how amazing our meals and paired wines were. We can’t Thankyou enough!
Food was good, but it was overpriced and service was unacceptable at this price!
Excellent food, staff were attentive without being overbearing. Timing between courses was very good. Hard to fault!
From the moment you arrive you see opulent decorations, professional friendly staff and the dinner service was amazing. The food is so tasty and just the right size dish portions. Wine pairing was very well thought through. Thank you to all the team.
The service is good but the menu is very average. Prices are ridiculously high for the quality/ quantity of the plates. I wouldn’t go back. Plates lacked originality and in some cases flavour. There is nothing special about the menu at Vanitas, other than the exorbitant prices.
Excellent food, magnificent service and a superb menu. Wait staff are second to none and double very well as the sommelier for recommendations from the excellent wine list.
Fantastic food, service and atmosphere!
Simply Stunnng! The attention to detail in every way can only result in one of the most amazing dining experiences you will ever have. We even thought they had arranged a flock of ducks to entertain the guests at the poolside window tables. It turns out that Mother Nature was responsible for that one though it certainly added to the atmosphere.
Entrees were excellent. Mains were good.
My daughter and I enjoy degustation for our birthdays. Vanitas stands out as one of our all time favourites from the truffle butter to the flavourful tomatoes and the buffalo mozzarella to lovely surprises like the squid ink tuille, we loved every course. We would definitely come again. Loved it.
We had very bad service. The server was non attentive and barely came to serve us. We had to track her down every time we needed something. She was talking with every other guests at their tables and it was awkward for us to call for her. It was a very uncomfortable experience. She didn’t ask us how the wine was or the meal. Food was very good.
We had 6 course degustation menu. The food was really quite good. The service was ok, but lacked confidence and knowledge. The dining room is nice if not a bit drab - very beige - which is odd for a Versace restaurant. All in all the experience was fine. Nothing amazing but not bad. The wine list marks up were quite high and at times confusing and inconsistent.
Great atmosphere and service.
Entree was delicious but the main was average. Service was excellent.
Food and service were amazing was an amazing dinner
Good service although a little strained. Food presentation was attractive but the content was unacceptable. Fish of the day ( steamed red emperor) was well cooked but bland and tasteless. One menu read lamb rack and the other lamb loin. Husband ordered the rack but received the loin which was quite tough and not as expected. A pity as it was a special occasion and although we were served a complimentary dessert as compensation for the fish, it left us feeling very disappointed. Not our best fine dining experience sadly.
Service and food were both fantastic. I told them it was my birthday and got extra special treatment which was lovely, birthday sign on the table, complimentary Prosecco and chocolate happy birthday on my dessert. Very thoughtful.
The only negative was the lack of patrons on the night. We were one of three couples in the restaurant..
Definitely not fine dining. Very disappointing experience. Below average.
Davide looked after us incredibly well
