Granted it was Valentines Day and the pace was packed, but it wasn't a great start when drinks were spilled onto the table and my trousers, soon after we were seated. Amends and apologies were made, but a complimentary drink would have been soothing. Four times we were offered other table's mains, apparently there were no table numbers. A large television on the wall had an advertising video on loop, reminding us how much cheaper it would have been if we came for lunch instead of a $69ph set menu. The service and food quality were satisfactory but not memorable
As regular diners at the Vibrante we were a little disappointed at the quality of our Oysters Kilpatrick. I suspect that they were the cause of a bout of food poisoning that I experienced on the next day. Apart from that the remaining dishes that we had were most enjoyable. Despite this hiccup we will return on another day.
Great service in a well loved local establishment!
Both our meals were delicious, the staff friendly and attentive and the atmosphere, though quite noisy, was welcoming. We would recommend this restaurant highly.
The place was very busy but service was attentive without being pushy, meals of excellent quality came at perfect time, and despite being busy, noise level was acceptable due to carpeted floor. No complaints whatsoever!!
Good food & well looked after. A little noisy but all in all a pleasant dinner. We think more choice on the menu would have been better but still happy with what we ordered.
Another one of our favourite local BYO restaurants with friendly, welcoming staff, This time it was Miranda who took care of us. The food is always spot on and tonight was no exception. Looking forward to going again soon.
A quick lunch today. Food was great and waitress was efficient. The restaurant was not busy, but non the less the atmosphere was vibrant.
Great food and drink
food was ok good place for large groups.
Service was fantastic and not too noisy so we could easily talk.
Good reliable food and service with reasonable prices and a welcoming vibe. One of our regular go-to locals which always serves great coffee. Menu is varied but perhaps a little tired for its regulars, nevertheless always spot-on. Thanks to the very attentive but not intrusive waiter...a job well done.
Service was excellent. Would have liked a couple more specials to pick from.
A lovely venue, I booked easily online. Service was unobtrusive yet still attentive. A menu that covers many different age groups and tastes. Also byo wine, they only change $6 per bottle. Thanks Vibrate.
Great specials board
Been there before just a nice place to meet friends & have lunch
Food was as very good. Lots of choice. A few in the group chose the lunch 2 course special and were very happy. Sadly the service was not as good as usual. We were a party of 7 but I had to ask for someone to attend to our table on two occasions. I eat at Vibrante regularly and suggested the restaurant to the group so I was a bit disappointed with this aspect. However everything else was really good.
A great night. Good service and great food
We had a lovely Friday night meal with friends
133 James Street, 3106, Templestowe, Australia
Viva Vibrante! Friendly. Unpretentious. Delicious. That’s Vibrante in a nutshell. This Templestowe restaurant has been serving locals and visitors alike since 2009, and it continues to churn out tasty, modern Italian cuisine in a colourful — and usually boisterous — dining room. There’s an outdoor courtyard too that’s ideal for an afternoon or evening catch-up with friends. Dishes showcase fresh, local ingredients and the menu has a little something for everyone, including plenty of gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options. The garlic and herb focaccia is a popular starter, and there are heaps of gourmet pizzas that are sure to please. Try the tandoori pizza with chicken, chillies, onions, mushroom, tomato, mozzarella and mint yogurt. It’s an international take on an old Italian classic. Or, for the traditionalists out there, go for the Capricciosa with ham, mushroom, olives, tomato, mozzarella and anchovies. If the pizza doesn’t take your fancy, there’s pasta and risotto as well as Italian home-style meals such as a vegan baked capsicum or chicken parmigiana. Best dish: Veal Involtini (veal wrapped in prosciutto)
