Very good
This was the worst meal we have ever had at the Victoria Point Tavern, and a $119 that we will never get back. Four of us were there for dinner this evening. Their entree special was chicken karaage which did not resemble chicken karaage at all! The waitress then brought our mains to the table whilst we were halfway through our entrees. She observed us all eating but still announced our dishes. She was surprised when I told her "we are still eating our starters" and I asked her to take them back. A few minutes later, with one of us still eating our entree, the mains turned up again. With hesitation, we thought it best to accept them at this point. I asked the waitress if our mains had been kept hot and the waitress confirmed "the plates were kept warm". We quickly discovered that the heat from the plates had not transferred through to the food so the food was in fact cold. We returned the cold steak and vegetables. Two minutes later the waitress brought the plate back, having microwaved it, placed it down and quickly hurried off, without offering an apology or waiting to check if it was okay. After eating very average, luke warm food, the waitress came back and began to clear our dishes, despite the fact that one of us was still eating. The food was less than average and the service was poor. We will never return to the Victoria Point Tavern and hope that this review helps other people avoid wasting their money and suffering a similar unpleasant experience.
Attitude of the girl who was near the scan table was quite rude. No help at all until another lassie came and she was wonderful.manually logged us in. No real choice in different veg if you don’t like broccoli or corn. Schnitzel wasn’t what we expected, looked like it was bought from woolies
The venue needs a clean, air vents surrounded in mould, , food edible but not recommended, well over priced for the Qaulity.
Excellent food and service as always. Never been disappointed yet!!!
Such wonderful staff! We had a very cranky 2 year old and they were so accomodating and lovely about it. The lady on the front door was especially nice - she made the effort to come and chat to us and make us feel better about the child screaming.
They did not know where to bring our food kept trying to give it to another table. They did not clear the table until we had to ask them too. Did not bring out coffee and cake that was prepaid had to chase that up. Food was below average.
Been here a couple of times and we have found it to be friendly / atmosphere was great/ food delicious, nice to chill back and relax, Thanku to everyone
Food was lovely and prices were fantastic! Super family friendly, play area was a life saver! Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful and although our two toddlers kept getting under their feet they never made us feel a burden. This is our new go to for family meals, couldn’t recommend enough!!!!
A casual and easy atmosphere with great food at a great price. Staff made us feel really welcome and all the COVID stuff was easy and well managed.
Was perfect for a party of 12 celebrating early week by having a lovely meal and a drink. Sons 22 birthday and we had a great time. Staff very lovely
We've been the vicky tavern many times as it's easy for my mum (who doesn't walk very far anymore) but yesterday we arrived as normal to find the entrance we use now locked and had to use the other entrance so we had to get mum back in the car to go around...was a little much for her. Other than that issue we all really enjoyed our meals as usual.
Friendly helpful staff. The meals were good. Seniors discount was helpful. It was easy to reserve a table online . We definitely will return another time.
The service we received was good on the14/2/2020. But the Battered Barramundi ($21.00) was terrible more like Frozen Flathead. The chips were soggy and salad (Lettuce shredded Cabbage And beetroot) no Tomatoes, cucumber, or capsicum. Expected better. we dine there quite often but the food seems to be getting worse.
Service and atmosphere good but food definitely not up to scratch, ordered Barramundi which it definitely wasn't, the seafood plate was mostly overcooked and very crunchy.
The eye fillet I had was cooked well and tasted great.
8 of us had dinner tonight. One order was incorrect altogether, some of the meals were just ok and the others were very good, so a bit hit and miss. Service was very good, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. They're was a 40 minute wait for food, but the place was packed, so that was acceptable.
I enjoyed my meal and the steak was cooked to perfection. though disappointed that there were so many dishes that were not available from the menu even a ceaser salad which is a staple on most menus
Disappointed in the limited fish choices. No oysters to choose from.
Our booking was not in the system, which was very disappointing, but they did make up a table for us. The table was in an awkward position, so did not enjoy the evening. We go here regularly, and food was great as usual though, which was good.
Love the musical Bingo , makes for a great singalong night.
