Food was very tasty. We went there before going to the theatre, it was just a 7 minute walk to get there which was handy

A great meal before the theatre. Try not to sit everyone together. Spread them out so each table has a bit of privacy. Suggest you reduce the number of your tables.

I have dined at Viet de Lites many times over the years. Their food is consistently good. The green papaya salad and fried rice are particularly excellent.

Fresh is best Viet de Lites is a beautiful restaurant with subtle green and warm yellow tones throughout which enhances the feeling you are about to eat some of the freshest, most natural food you have had for a while. Delectable traditional Vietnamese dishes are served on their lovely dinnerware adorned with the most amazing colours. Vietnamese food is influenced by the cuisines of Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and France, and if you haven’t eaten it before you really are missing out. Viet de Lites offer plenty of gluten-free dishes on the menu; since many dishes are prepared a day or so ahead please be sure to ask the staff if you’re unsure. The staff are Warm and inviting, and communal eating, a way of life in Vietnam, is something that the restaurant embraces with dishes easily divided between the friends you bought with you - or the friends you made whilst there. Located in the heart of Southbank’s retail and dining precinct, you will love the experience and will want to return again and again. Best dish: Duck curry
