Very good
The hot stone was good. The staff really did their best and provided excellent and quick service. I’d go there again. The food quality and quantify was ample and beautifully presented.
We’ve eaten at this restaurant before and will certainly be back. The food is very good and the service was also of a good standard. Well worth a visit if you are in town.
We had a wonderful night at the Village Cafe. The setting was lovely with the sparkly lights so right away we were optimistic upon arrival. We were greeted by our waitress for the night, Riena, who proved to be great; she was professional - not even needing notes for our order and getting everything perfect; being attentive but giving us space to enjoy a quiet night together and friendly. She did a really good job and added to our night. The food was wonderful. My husband had a "hot rock" meal where he cooked his seafood platter on the hot stone at the table; the seafood was perfect! Calamari just melted in your mouth and no sauce was needed at all; delight. I ordered two tapas meals and the flavours were delicious. Serving sizes for tapas were just right. Having discovered the Village Cafe Restaurant and Bar, we'll surely be back - and hoping to see Riena again. Many thanks, Riena, you added to our night. :)
Disappointing meal. Nothing is delicious. The chocolate cake is too sweet to digest and the beef lasgama is actually tasteless:( Also, the servant ignored me for many times………
Seafood was delicious and fresh. Hot stone was cool too.
My reservation was not recognised by way of a table being held, although it was not busy, if you go to the effort of booking ahead there should at least be a table set aside for you and staff aware that you are coming.
The Forest Mushroom Risotto was delicious! So full of *mushrooms* and flavour! Night atmosphere was lovely.
Convenient location, decent menu and prices.
