I now consider myself a regular because the food is so good, it just hits the spot each time. Different, good size and the staff are very welcoming

Great opportunity to enjoy a relaxing night out with friends. Knowledgeable attentive staff and excellent menu with interesting wine pairings. Relaxed atmosphere for couples or small groups.

Great atmosphere, loved the benchy table design. Food was great, especially the wagyu beef, amazing. Also enjoyed a nice wine. Look forward to going again some time.

Pro: Nice atmosphere created by the decor.. Con:We asked if we could sit at different location to that allocated as the restaurant wasn’t very busy. We basically only had a view of the wine fridge and the service area but we were told no, and no attempt to meet our request. Pro: starter was good. Cauliflower. Con: Not enough break between serving and clearing the starter and serving the main. Mains are small in size and limited if you don’t buy sides. Con: service too in your face. We are not fans of the constant checking in, interrupting with small talk and hovering around while my partner and I were trying to have conversation and have our meals. We felt rushed and it was annoying. Drinks: if you are a spirit drinker you only can buy gin or whiskey.

Great food, setting and wine. Could do with a coffee machine. There was pop/romantic music playing which suited me as a young adult but perhaps not older people.

An attractive menu with a great choice. Excellent food. Good choice of drinks. Service very attentive, competent and friendly. Stool seating a little difficult for senior diners, such as myself. Atmosphere good, although a little dark.

First time at Vincent. Atmosphere was dark, noisy and seating was awkward around a shushi style bar. Quality of food was great but amount was small. My beef dish for example had 4 small pieces of good quality beef, two brussel sprouts and the sweet potato and other vegetables ? we’re flaked or made into a creamy mix. There was no option as to how you liked your steak - rare (which is okay for me). Staff were good but a smart coordinated outfit would make them appear more professional. My one use diners card reduced the price to a fair cost. Might suit a business type lunch, but not for a special evening dinner. We had dined and paid the bill within the hour.

It was horribly loud because of the room acoustics and music. My party had to virtually shout at each other for conversation. It was a special evening and it bombed because of the ambience (or lack of it). Our fault.. should have researched more.

Surprised that a local Shiraz not available. Quite a noisy restaurant due to its stark decor. Serving small for the price by about 30%, particularly a simple dish like gnocchi. Staff were nice and food tasty. Odd being last there on a Wednesday night at 9pm, and the music was turned off & we were not offered any after dinner drinks. Disappointed after a recommendation from friends.

Vincent was great when I first went there years ago and it’s still great now. The Chef’s Tasting Menu is good value for what you get, and you get to enjoy several dishes from the menu. Everything we had was delicious - the menu is inventive without being pretentious and the food was obviously prepared with care. It’s a quiet space to enjoy dinner conversation without having to shout and compete with thumping music. Excellent and attentive service, that never felt intrusive.

Very nice restaurant and good service. Reasonably priced as well. The food was very tasty without having large portions which is great for a lunch event.

Great selection of wines by the glass. It has a great ambiance. I like that it feels like you’re in a bar but can have a full meal. Food is lovely. We had the tasting menu. Standouts were the snapper and the scallops. I have never had scallops like that before. I’m not sure what it was... They were in a black kind of batter? Lots of Japanese sounding words that I didn’t understand. My fiancé loved the wagyu and the roasted cauliflower.

Underwhelmed. Chefs tasting wasn’t that much food and the food is supposed to be shared but the actual food isn’t really shareable. Service was hit and miss. Seating is odd that you sit and face the counter, register and are always looking at staff working. They weren’t very allergy friendly either.

Had a great night, good food. We ordered the tasting menu. 4 out if 5 dishes were excellent. Some descriptions on the menu were not very accurate for what we received. The Peking Duck was not very flavoursome and many ingredients listed in the menu description were undetectable (no chilli or coriander flavour) or not listed at all (no mention of fried wontons, avocado, bean sprouts or raspberry). Would highly recommend the wagyu and cauliflower dishes.
