Excellent authentic Italian food and great personal service.
GOOD SAUCES ,FLAVOURS and TASTE
Nice atmosphere, comfortable casual dining
We love Vinnies and have pretty much made it our "go to" restaurant for a chilled, casual evening out. The staff are friendly and the food is always delicious and portions very generous. Meals are well priced and the atmosphere super relaxed. Highly recommended for a casual catchup with good friends ??????
Great little place. Yummy, handy & great service. Thanks!
Our dinner was nice. This restaurant is a good place to get a quick, hearty meal, with friendly service.
Great little place and we will definitely be back. Thanks! ??
pasta good. pizza was average.
Great Local Italian Joint. Food was tasty and not expensive with huge serves. Menu is extensive with lots of choices. Wine list is somewhat lacking. pPreviously was more extensive but now seems to only have Margaret River WA Wines. The owners need to get some S.A. reds into there wine list and to stock the mid strength Peroni. Also red wines are refrigerated. They are too cold. Need to adjust the temperature on the Wine Storage fridge. Otherwise great inexpensive evening. friendly pleasant staff. Will be back for the food and friendly atmosphere if nothing else Don't expect quick meals as all food is as you would expect cooked to order.
had dinner here on Thursday. Great food. Good service. Tasty food and best of all not expensive. I have found myself Southport local Italian Joint and fully expect to become a regular. Overall really nice inexpensive venue for great cooked to order Italian in a quaint friendly family owned and operated place. Will definitely be back
Food was quite average. It's good for a casual or family dining.
After years of being a regular diner at Vinnies, we are yet to have a bad meal. Highly recommended.
Friend, pleasant, slightly slow if you are in hurry Scaloppine marinara is excellent.
Great atmosphere and food backed by great service
Nice food we'll be back
Great food and service

A touch of Naples in the south Family-owned and operated, Vinnies Italian Restaurant has satisfied residents and visitors to Southport since 2000. Your hosts Peter, Carol and Craig make it their mission to give diners an authentic Italian experience in old-style surrounds. Vinnie’s sweet chilli prawns are an excellent way to start the meal while deciding on your main. The ribs are famous at Vinnies, although we do like to enjoy a pizza calzone, a pizza of our choice folded in half and toppedwith hot Napoli sauce and mozzarella. We think they’re best enjoyed al fresco at one of the outside tables when the weather permits. Admittedly, that’s because it takes us right back to a balmy weekend we spent one summer in Naples. The pasta comes with gluten-free options, so there’s no reason not to indulge, especially with sauces as good as these. Best dish: spare ribs
