Inside you’ll find a minimalistic restaurant with neat linen tables and polished wood that’s apt for the elegant mood. Chef Davide Ferraro focuses on good, simple Italian food. The menu is understated, with a happy blend of traditional and modern cuisine. We enjoyed some warm marinated olives to begin, with a wine recommended by the lovely wait staff, then moved on to the caramelized scallops with avocado mousse – and it was delectable. The house made pasta and risotto will simply melt your heart and take you back to your grandmother’s heart-warming cooking. The lemon and garlic chicken breast was the star of the day, with its delicate spicy flavour and mouth-watering goodness. Vivace boasts an excellent drinks menu that includes not only wines but port, sherry and cognac as well. We guarantee these drinks will add that touch of finesse to your wonderful dining experience at Vivace.
