Vivarium Cafe & Restaurant

This cafe was surprisingly quiet at lunchtime on Thursday despite the positive reviews. The staff were great and the menu choices had a good variety of all day breakfast and lunch options. The steak sandwich would be the recommendation. Don't be overwhelmed by the weird outdoor decor inside the cafe...(yes, including a picket fence!)

The food was really tasty and good value and this comes from someone who rarely writes a review. This is a great small biz to support. There was a good selection of dishes for all 5 of us even me a fussy eater!

Lovely neighbourhood gem on Enmore Road. The food was so tasty, good sized portions. These were well priced and the service was really good.

Located in the bustling Enmore Rd near Newtown, Vivarium stands out amongst the plethora of burger joints and steak bars. The food is a delicate fusion between Asian cuisine and western cuisine creating one of the most unforgettable experince in dining. There is a secret menu such as pineapple fried rice that is available on request. Though the portion may be on the smaller side, the presentation is so beautiful and the food is full of flavour that every bite is an exhilarating taste encounter that leaves you wanting more. Coupled with the floral decoration and romantic ambience, it is the perfect place for a couple or family to enjoy the full dining experience.

Fantastic and different style of dishes. Very tasty too... can definitely recommend the crispy prawn and cabbage fritters. Plus the staff were very attentive. Will definitely go again!

Its a cute and nicely decorated restaurant. Food was good, service excellent we had the pork ribs and apple coleslaw which was very tasty. we had to sit in the front , which was a bummer because the back of the restaurant is cuter, but they had some function apparently so we weren't allowed there .

Our dinner at Vivarium was tasty and the menu had a good range of options. The service was attentive and the setting was pretty and interesting. The flavour and texture of the Barramundi Curry was great.
