The ladies at the front were welcoming And sat us quickly. Food came out in good time and everything was delicious. 12 people came for the booking and everyone raved about the food after. Will be back.

Some of the best Chinese food around. Tasty food, good service. A little noisy, but not really a problem.

Service very slow even though it was almost empty. Kept having to ask for water. One of the waitresses came to open the bifold doors near our table as it was very stuffy and when she didn't know how to do it she just walked away and after 1/2 hour of still feeling hot we had to open them ourselves! Food average, veggies very undercooked, good size portions, we ordered many different dishes for the 7 of us but nothing really tasty ????

About the restaurant

Bang for your buck. You’ll know when you’ve arrived at Vivisen Teahouse because you’ll smell the wonderful scent of the kitchen from the street. Enter and be seated at a polished jade-topped table laid with green leaf-like glass plates and scan the menu which is stuffed with tasty, handmade dim sum. Northern-style Chinese dishes dominate the menu and everything is exceptionally fresh. Make sure you come with a big party to you can order as much as possible - you’ll want to try everything! We love the pan-fried supreme dumplings, and the baby dragon buns filled with a tasty blend of mince and spices. They also have a fabulous goji tea which can be taken hot or cold - not to be missed. The food is great, and the prices are even better! Walk away from your meal with a full tum and your wallet only slightly lighter for it. Best dish: dim sum menu
