Always great unique indian dishes. Love the honey ginger paneer snack and mushroom starter. The Malai Kofta is lovely and new prawn dish is great. Mushroom naan is a must! Been nearly 6 times and have not been let down once.
This little Indian restaurant in Crows Nest was a great find. Absolutely delicious lamb cutlets and the chicken tikka was next level. The food was a lot better than I expected. Highly recommend.
Wow, we really enjoyed our meal here. The ambiance is great and the staff are very accommodating and knowledgeable. We'll definitely be back. Some of the starters were the highlights for us, the Gol Gappas, Palak & Kale chaat and Lotus Stem patties.
Welcoming and helpful staff, flavoursome, well-prepared food. Well-priced with promotional discount via the Fork. Happy to return .......
Food was delicious and staff were lovely . If I had to find something to provide feedback on I would suggest that staff ask customers whether they want small or large drinks when they order something (in our case it was beer), we were automatically given large beers when we assumed we were ordering bottles.
Choosed the special menu recommend by wittresss. Very nice flavor, lamb has been cooked perfectly. Plenty of food for two people, will be back.
Fantastic good and attentive service. Will come again!
We had papadum with condiments, Raajmaah Dhaal Aachar Kidney bean lentil curry cooked with homemade pickle and Tiger prawns pan fried and sauteed with onions, capscicum & tomato. They all so delicious!
Probably the best Kashmiri food I have ever tasted. The lamb shanks were melting off the bone
Could not fault the service and quality of the food. It was clear that there was a pride in both presentation and preparation of the dishes. The staff were knowledgeable, and attentive. I would definitely recommend WaazWaan to anyone who enjoys quality Indian/Kashmiri food.
My wife and I have eaten at this restaurant numerous times since we first discovered (on 'thefork') and experienced this neighbourhood gem earlier this year. Simply high quality and tasty food and very efficient, accommodating and friendly service. Certainly worth the trip from the upper North Shore.
We are second time here . Staff is really nice and we love the food . We tried different things and we absolutely loved it. Thank you
The staff was super welcoming and the service was excellent . The food was very authentic and mind blowing Kashmiri cuisine. Will definitely visit again .
The setting and atmosphere was nice and the naan bread was really good. the waiter stood at the bar, next to our table for most of our meal, which I didn’t enjoy and on clean up, didn’t apologize when he spilt sauce from my husbands plate onto my dress, even as I was wiping it off.
This restaurant is a great find because of the quality of the food and the Kashmiri items on the menu. We enjoyed the Tujji, the Yakhni , Shami kebabs and the Rajma. The Rajma was excellent, easily the best I have eaten. The decor was tasteful, service was both professional was friendly. High marks for presentation. Will certainly return to have the waazwaan course.
Absolutely delicious and great service. The prawn masala is excellent
We thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant. Great lunch. Been there 3 times and the food is consistently of a high standard. Would highly recommend Waze Waan.
The food was really delicious... Service was also really good. A bit expensive but the deals with the Fork app make it a steal...
Authentic and excellent Indian food. Portions are good. Certainly recommend to others. Overall, it was a positive experience dining at this place.
Simply loved the food :) Lamb was so tender and juicy, loved the flavours. Honestly speaking I personally did not like the paneer dish as it was little hard for me, but the gravy was delicious. Thanks
