10/10One of my favourite places to eat in Collingwood. The Ramen and sashimi is world class and consistent. I would recommend WSS to anyone who enjoys tasty Japanese.

10/10Food was great, Japanese with some new take on sauces and dips. Cute atmosphere, sake tasting plate was delicious and good value.

10/10Wabi Is a popular spot and now I know why! Great food especially the pork dumpling - they were off the chart. Cute ambience and no fuss service. 10/10

10/10Phenomenal food, lovely staff, great service, and cool setting. Really can't ask for much more - both my partner and I left feeling hugely content and delightfully if.

6/10Always loves going to Wabi Sabi but tonight was a bit of disappointment. Service and presentation was great as usual but the food was too salty (esp, the wagyu yakiniku) and overwhelming to our liking. The beef had a strange smell to it too. Given that it was one of the most expensive items on the menu, our expectations were pretty high but utterly disappointed.

6/10Been wanting to go to this restaurant for ages. Lovely flavours on the squid but so chewy and too much deep fried food and expensive for what it is. I’m used to really light tempura batter but the cauliflower tempura was heavy. Really good service but over rated for sure.

8.5/10Delicious food - everything we ordered was super flavoursome and generous portions! Staff were pretty great too - they made a small mistake with our order but this was quickly rectified. My small gripe would be that the venue itself was quite cold and stools aren’t great for everyone (my elderly mother and small 2yo probably would have preferred chairs). You can put this aside for the food though - delicious!

6.5/10Beautiful decor and in a lovely spot on Smith. Service was really good and there was an extensive menu but the food was very bland, we had both starter and two different mains but thought both were lacking in flavour :(

10/10We love this little restaurant for its quirky vibe, great taste in music, good beer and wine list - and of course the excellent dishes they wip out! Starters especially are our favourites, with the crevice/sashimi absolute favourites. Thanks team ????????

6/10Food was great. Service was lacking. The wine prices were not on the menu and came as a surprise on the bill. Overall the experience was positive, but they need to work on the service and whay not put the wine prices on the menu like everyone else ?

10/10Smallish restaurant with different levels. Good, was unlike any Japanese we have ever had. Very interesting flavours. Friendly and very genuine waiting staff. The restaurant had a really good vibe. Very enjoyable.

5.5/10They served a beef dish without any beef, only onions, and when we complained they brought us the beef 20 mins later while the rest of the dish was left on the table getting cold. We were expecting them to replace the whole dish. New winter menu not as good as it used to be

10/10This is a great little find for either a quick bite or a long catch up. We decided to do five dishes between us and added a couple of Yuzu Margaritas and Nashi Sours - everything was delicious. Definitely will be back and recommending to friends.

7.5/10Great food in cosy busy restaurant. Cute decor. Would recommend to visit when less busy to avoid long wait times for your food. Staff all very friendly

4/10I was looking forward to good Japanese food as this place features on Broadsheet as one of Melbourne’s best Japanese restaurants. The food was fusion, and executed poorly. The rice was over cooked and sloppy, and the vegetables were not fresh and were over cooked . The place looked trendy and cool, and the staff were friendly...so go for ambience but not the food.
