Music too loud. Chicken Parm over-fried and dry. Brisket okay, better than some, but not the best. Table top in dining room sticky with old spilled beer. Friendly staff, great views.

We booked online, but once we got there no one knew about the booking. I think if they offer online booking they should check it throughout service

They need to fix the gusting wind problem. Twice in the space of an hour, gusts of wind blew glasses over at the next table (one smashed). And the door was constantly slamming. It's a waterfront location, so not entirely unexpected. Get a soft-close hinge on the door!!

We enjoyed our diner very well. I personally like the music a little softer so you can talk better with one other without having to yell. But overall a great place and we will be back!!

It was too noisy My meal arrived 30 minutes after the rest of my party. So we had 7 people and 5 meals arrived even though we told them we were all at the same table and would like to eat together.

Staff were not very friendly. Our order was incorrect and the replacement meal never came out. We were given a refund and the server apologised. My partner ordered a lemon lime bitters that was undrinkable. We were very disappointed.

The service was so slow unfortunately. We waited over an hour and a quarter for our meals. It was Fathers Day but still that’s just too long.

Venue was busy as expected for Fathers day. Was not advised on food wait, but waited over 1 hour for burgers and fish and chips. When food arrived, chips were inedible, rest of food dry. Very Disappointing.

About Walt & Burley

Waterside dining With one of the most expansive views of Lake Burley Griffin, a table here is hot property, especially as the sun sets. What better way to say goodbye to the day than with a margarita and slow cooked shredded bbq pork burger with jamaican slaw, aioli and a side of chippies. That is happiness is a glass and on a plate. Walt & Burley also offers a range of other dishes to suit all hunger levels. There’s small plates like pan fried spanish chorizo for those looking to graze and nibble, salt and pepper crusted squid and nachos if you’re feeling slightly more peckish, or salmon, fish and chips and hearty burgers if you’re downright famished. The Kingston Foreshore is alive and buzzing with great foodie destinations that are sure to impress. This being one of them. Best dish: Walt’s Best of Burley - chef’s choice of three meats, shoestring fries and jamaican
