Didn’t have the table we booked in the dining area so was sat in the bar area. Waited over 25 minutes in line to order food and drinks as there wasn’t enough staff. Food was good and staff were working hard to try to serve us as quickly as possible.

I took my customers their for lunch, and as I am from Sydney didn't realise this place already has a reputation for ordinary food. The chicken burger was terrible, my customer was not overly happy. The snitzel was passable but not fantastic and the meat burger was not anything special. Suggest they take a walk and actually try some other restaurants burgers and snitzel and work out how they can improve what they are selling. The bar waiter was not with it at all... I usually take my customers to the duxton hotel... great location but wont be back unless they improve. sorry best to be honest so they can improve.

The venue is well located by the lake with nice views but the service was poor and the pub food options were ordinary. I wouldn't be going back.

Great place we all enjoyed it

Staff were great . We had a party of 17 and the food was very slow to be served. Could use a lot of improvement in this area as our menu was preselected and should have had no problems with delays. In fact 2 people had to go back to work because they couldn't wait any longer.

So drinks great - bar service fantastic - staff lovely and smiling. Food over priced for what it is - the pot pie was terrible no flavour at all and it was almost $30.00 way to loud inside but it is xmas so there were a few parties going on but nice venue - just bring down food prices or make more flavoursome food

Service was slow and value for money poor. $18 for a dessert (Eton mess) which came out 2 small scoops of ice cream, 4 blue berries and 2 grapes, along with half a small meringue crumbled on the plate. Absolutely taken for a ride

About Walt & Burley

Waterside dining With one of the most expansive views of Lake Burley Griffin, a table here is hot property, especially as the sun sets. What better way to say goodbye to the day than with a margarita and slow cooked shredded bbq pork burger with jamaican slaw, aioli and a side of chippies. That is happiness is a glass and on a plate. Walt & Burley also offers a range of other dishes to suit all hunger levels. There’s small plates like pan fried spanish chorizo for those looking to graze and nibble, salt and pepper crusted squid and nachos if you’re feeling slightly more peckish, or salmon, fish and chips and hearty burgers if you’re downright famished. The Kingston Foreshore is alive and buzzing with great foodie destinations that are sure to impress. This being one of them. Best dish: Walt’s Best of Burley - chef’s choice of three meats, shoestring fries and jamaican
