Nice location with lovely open fire. Good service but food a little overpriced for what you get.

I have been here three times in the last three months and each time has been a very enjoyable experience. This time we ate at the restaurant and the food was great pub food done very well. Very impressed with the staff especially the greeter/floor manager who looked so young but was a very polished performer ensuring us and all who were in the venue on Sunday had a great time.

About Walt & Burley

Waterside dining With one of the most expansive views of Lake Burley Griffin, a table here is hot property, especially as the sun sets. What better way to say goodbye to the day than with a margarita and slow cooked shredded bbq pork burger with jamaican slaw, aioli and a side of chippies. That is happiness is a glass and on a plate. Walt & Burley also offers a range of other dishes to suit all hunger levels. There’s small plates like pan fried spanish chorizo for those looking to graze and nibble, salt and pepper crusted squid and nachos if you’re feeling slightly more peckish, or salmon, fish and chips and hearty burgers if you’re downright famished. The Kingston Foreshore is alive and buzzing with great foodie destinations that are sure to impress. This being one of them. Best dish: Walt’s Best of Burley - chef’s choice of three meats, shoestring fries and jamaican
